While palatable Lagers do exist on your side of the Channel, none can truly match a pint of real ALE. Proper beer. No chill, no fizz, just flavour.

I find a good pint of Tim Taylor's Landlord is hard to beat, but I've not yet found anywhere in Birmingham that does it as well as my old haunt up in Leeds.
I'm quite partial to Wychwood's bottled ales - Goliath and Hobgoblin. St Austell's Proper Job is a very nice IPA too. Last edited on 2017-10-06 14:19:53 by JonnyP |
