I think its also about letting as many teams get a shot at Elite as possible.
I would have been forced to compete for longer if only the bottom team demoted. With two teams demoting, and 6 loses I knew it wouldn't be possible to stay up. But if only one team demoted there would always be a chance that one of the teams above me fell apart. |

Well, it went down to the last play, but I survived the relegation match. At least I keep things exciting.
Borderliners pulled away a bit after a close game in the first half. Rhinos also win, and Berlin is the only team going back down to 2.x Now to figure out how to win some games by next season. Last edited on 2018-02-04 03:00:19 by ombi |

I had one shot to comeback to Elite before at least small rebuild because my whole D-line turn to retirement after this season. I am glad that I took it. I totally agree.I also think that it is a good thing to have two teams promoted (and two teams relegated. Everyone should get a shot at Elite, and with only one access right, it would have been too tough, creating frustration. |

Yes, Admirals keep on producing very competitive teams and it seems that you need at least 11 wins to stay put in Elite (and as you have pointed out, sometimes 11 wins is not enough and you have to battle until the last seconds). I was happy for my ride in Elite. I could have been sent back right back to Admirals 1.1 after my first season, so everything was just bonus afterwards. Wish you the best in Elite. With Chester and Bobboys waiting for you, it’s going to be a nice challenge.  |

Well, early Q3 interception in red zone looks like decisive moment. After that there was only one team on the field.
 Congrats to winner. Really bad performance from my team. I can only hope for payback in Elite. |
