This division really intrigues me. With 2 promotion teams in the last 2 seasons being at the level they are nothing is a forgone conclusion.

Kalapana Wild Thangs are favourites to take the division but may find themselves looking over their shoulders with Limerick Lickers coming so close last season. Wild Thangs were in Elite 13 seasons ago now so will have to answer this season as to weather they are a Elite League contender now.

Limerick Lickers will attempt this season to get back to Elite after being relegated after season 26. Key to this division will be who wins the matchups between Wild Thangs and Limerick.

This division could see a surprise package in Istanbul Whitings. They have the players to be a solid team in their 1.1 debut but do they have the playbook and schedule to do so?

East Coast Crushers survived relegation battle last season after having a difficult debut season schedule which seems to be much kinder to them this season. This is a chance for the East Coast Crushers to really show what they can do.

1.Limerick Lickers
2.Kalapana Wild Thangs
3.Istanbul Whitings
4.East Coast Crushers

Let's face it, this division is Budapest Wolves to lose 15-1 last season is a lot to match for most teams. They'll be conference title contenders again this season.

It's not out of the question for Wolflings to take the division but they have to get the better of the big games and get the W, last seasons 13-3 shows they may not be far off.

San Francisco Miners are newly promoted and have been handed a tough 1.1 2nd season schedule. They have a decent team so how much they have developed this off season will be interesting to see. Could be worth watching their progress in the opening games.

California Sharks have been promoted and maybe a little to early. They need to be patient and not get disheartened. Relegation this season maybe a blessing not hindrance.

1.Budapest Wolves
2.Wolflings
3.San Francisco Miners
4.California Sharks

I don't see much changing this season. Amersfoort Alligators returns after a stint in Elite last season. The board also forgot to renegotiate contracts and are now in full rebuild mode.

Xu Da are steadily pushing on. 8-8 last season really they need to be pushing on in the league and have a bit more about them, big season ahead. Xu Da will likely take the division by default.

Flow Gaming were in rebuild a 6 seasons ago and it's hard to see where they are going. Will they move on from being an average team? They need a coaching staff to improve or they risk slipping to in the division standings the next few seasons.

Baltimore Ravens let a lot of players go at the end of last season and are clearly still developing as a franchise. For now survival will be the aim this season.

1.Xu Da
2.Flow Gaming
3.Baltimore Ravens
4.Amersfoort Alligators

Severnside Cardinals will not have the division title that easily this season. Both Severnside and Novi have very good schedules this season meaning it could go either way. The key will be whoever comes out on top when these two play each other of which Severnside struggled last season. They will need at least 1 win to probably take the division and compete for the conference.

Novi Cougars have season ahead which will have them competing for division and conference titles purely due to the schedule they have. This side can be frightening when they get going so don't be surprised if they get the better of the teams in this division.

Juggernaut are looking at third place in the division this year and will be expected to push on this season and make steady progress. Sustaining a place in 1.1 shouldn't be a problem.

Balenghi came up way to really due to bot flush. They need to be patient and not get too disheartened, ride out the season and see relegation as more as a good thing rather than a bad thing.

1.Severnside Cardinals
2.Novi Cougars
3.Juggernaut
4.Balenghi

Thunder Bolts won the division last season and before going out in the WC playoff. I see much of the same this season. Eager to see how much they have developed in the off season.

Die Verdammten have a history in the game and have cut the wages while rebuilding. Its only a matter of time before they hit the top again and this season could potentially see them coming closer to a playoff spot albeit a Wildcard spot.

Jinonice Forever will concentrate on staying in 1.1 this season. Progress in development is important here.

Bathing Apes forgot to do his contracts and has opted Leave RZA(maybe temporarily) and will go BOT

1.Thunder Bolts
2.Die Verdammten
3.Jinonice Forever
4.Bathing Apes

Befuddled Bubble Bobbles can only lose the division themselves this year in this new look NC North. They may have some playoff ambitions.

Harlingen Whalers is the only other familiar face in the division. Should take 2nd and will want to push for the playoffs after going 10-6 and missing out last season.

Chesterton Cheese come back to 1.1 for their second stint. They will want to avoid relegation this season but if they do I'll expect it will be via relegation playoff. They need to develop.

epics are newly promoted. will be a season of avoiding relegation for them consolidating a place in the league and developing enough to get the job done.

1.Befuddled Bubble Bobbles
2.Harlingen Whalers
3.Chesterton Cheese
4.epics

Basterds I expect will Edge the division this season. They have the best defence in the league and they will need it to come up against the talent that is in this division.

Totoras Patriots and Inbhir Narann may very well be two evenly matched sides this season and it is anyone's guess who grab second and third in the division. Both teams have made additions to the roster of the season as well as letting if you go. This will be one of the tightly fought contest in the League this in a bid to grab the higher spot in The Division.

Hawkmoon Black Cats once again needs patience as they are not ready for this level like a few other teams this season. See the season through and if you go developing and build from there.

1.Basterds
2.Totoras Patriots
3.Inbhir Narann
4.Hawkmoon Black Cats

LM Pirates comes down from elite will take the division and once again be battling for the all-important bowl game at the end of the season

Istanbul Sultans may very well take 2nd but this division outside LM Pirates are extremely closely matched and could potentially all be battling for spots. Istanbul seems to be in financial trouble to so watch this space for them.

PGI Andorre Solutions I have put projected a third position in the division but only because they have an extra one season experience on the Spitting Llamas.

Spitting Llamas may feel they are better equipped to deal with 1.1 this season compared to the last stint at this level. Effectively positions 2 through 4 in the division are up for grabs anyone can take any of the spots. This could be one of the most contested divisions in the league and could be an interesting one to watch. The head-to-head records between three of these teams will be most important and main very well decide who finishes where.

1.LM Pirates
2.Istanbul Sultans
3.PGI Andorre Solutions
4.Spitting Llamas
