Why not just for amusement set up an all-star team for each conference and have them play a scrimmage (with all star playbook) style knock-out.
No managers involved - just a 'which conference has best players' thing. Maybe give 25 credits to everyone from that conference providing they have membership (bought before it started) to add some interest to it. Could get the regional forums talking. I'd imagine most of the code is there already for the all-stars and would just need a bit of shuffling. |

But still, I like my World Cup « idea » too. yes this sounds good to me, like davis Cup in Tennis. maybe for bigger nations you can have Team usa1, usa2, France1, France 2 and so on |

Just a few thoughts, I really like the idea of a Davis Cup-kind a thing. For those nations, which have more managers: In combination with a community selection process to get more involved.
1) Managers can "apply" to become part of the Nation's team in a forum (all "Cup Teams" have five RZA teams and their managers) 2) All people from one nation can vote for those who have applied, the five teams with the most votes, will become the Nation xy Team for one season. Gives honor to the managers and motivation for those not being part of it. > Playday, Friday, instead of Friendlies/Champ of Champs. There could be full income, which is distributed among all players from one nation. (makes it interesting to follow, could boost small nations, no idea if doable  )
Then, I guess, we would need to check, how many nations we have (also, how many would enter the competition with two "Cup Teams", maybe) Over the season you have the Nations facing each other every Friday. Nation with 3 wins (out of 5 games) goes to the next round. With the final in the last week..... I'm sure a lot can be discussed here, but would love see something like this happen. |

 The way it works normally is if an English person or team wins we call them English, if they're Welsh, Scotish or Northern Irish, and they win, we call them British |
