I enjoy this game BECAUse of the heavy lift of going worst to first
Its want I do in real life And this most closely mirrors that Problem is too closely where u can Literally buy a national championship I want to compete on the field Not start the game with the fix is in Sure my elo will jump I've already gone from 480-400 But my players and budget will get PRogressively Worse keeping gths top fully stocked While I try to catch them WIYH Players THEY DIDNT WANT Read that aloud And see how that sounds It can't be just me But if it is a it wouldn't be a first Bni don't care C I isolation doesn't make me any less ACCURATE I notice nobody is REFUTING anything Just calling me names Or telling me it doesn't matter Football is talent and strategy I'm all over the strategy But I just went 7 clicks DOWN this morning As in essence the worst team in the draft picked last When u scout 8 and get the eighth guy only You lost out .and that gap will remain for 3 yrs Or however long he keeps that guy which could be forever And unless a better player at that position comes alomg aND he has. NO internet for three days will I be allowed to take a player that good He won't let me have. Him I wouldn't either But in the NFL when ur 0-16 u go first not last NO Matter what country ur from that makes sense Cuz that's how the best league on the planet does it And THIS is why Nobody would watch the patriots win 14x INA row like the Yankees And get first overall pick EVERY time a free agent comes up See the problem now And its not me I'm simply explaining it |

Anyone in this game started in your conditions, with the exception of season 1 players who probably have a complete different environment, since there was no established rankings.
We all closed the gap in our own way, each with a different strategy then others. I can tell you mine. When you are looking into the Transfer Market you are looking at players that have been discarded by someone, or randomly selected in a pool of abandoned players from evaporated teams. Keep it in mund because you cannot close any gap with those players, only reinforce some weak positions. I've put my best efforts in the Youth Academy learning to raise generations of backbone players for my team and trying to buy some good players, now or then, to strengthen the lineup. Beware of stars' wages if you don't have the economic capacity to sustain their salaries in the mid-long term. They will crush your finances and your growth. After 8 seasons I'm constantly competing for playoffs in Admirals 1.1 and I've growth perspective for next 5-7 seasons. I can tell you that it is working, even if I feel that something is still missing in my recipe. You have to do it alone, but remember that this simulation is not the real football and the real-game mechanics are far from being useful here. I repeat my suggestion : choose a mentor you can trust and accept their suggestions, you will rapidly improve. |

Let me add: managers at those times needed 3 seasons to complete the stadium. There were no big ones you would get invited to play in. Economy was much different, we had no income from the manager license, and no sponsorship by the mediacenter...yup, it was much harder to start a team at that time, and it was more competition across all league levels since teams were kind of poor ... |

And there was no quick fix to get money back then, nobody had any money, so the transfer market was dead... Seasons 4-10 were the massive boom in terms of finances and player values, and changes since then have slowly stabilised things, pushed up costs for the bigger teams, and reduced some of the excessive player prices. Now is probably the EASIEST time in the game's 6 year history to be a new team. To the OP... - build from within, once you have the income settled, the Youth Academy is your best friend. - ask for advice, be don't be a dick about it, some politeness always helps. - you hired coaches WAY too soon, and got the balance way out of kilter. - read the damn manual, and the guide, they DO help. - learn the impact each player has on each formation and play to your team's strengths. Keep it simple to start with, as your initial roster will be bad. - learn the impact each skill has on each player's performance and plan ahead - mould each player into their chosen role. Many managers have joined the game and worked their way up from the bottom. Take a look at the Red Star Goats in the Elite league. He started when the game had already been established for several years, asked questions, and worked his way up. He got a Mentor. Last season he promoted to Elite and his success led to his former Mentor being relegated from Elite, because the student had now overtaken the teacher. I was his teacher. I'm proud of that fact. |

In 2.x leagues you can play newly drafted players and low skilled (to be trained over time) young guys from the transfer market every snap in all league games and be competitive. In the top leagues you can't do this so easily at all, need to use Supercup and friendlies for experience. This is a good thing for you in your league

I was his teacher. I'm proud of that fact. Most important, I enjoyed seeing my team slowly developed. I could have hired superstars as soon as the stadium was full. Instead I bought a bunch of young players, sometimes for too muchmoney. But I started to buy already developed players once I could aim PO in 1.1. As a result, I was able to save during these years 130 millions despite big salaries and barely sell any player. |

Basically you're talking total nonsense and I'm bored of it, you're moaning because it isn't instantaneous and your brain can't see past "I want it now!", not everyone will enjoy this game, if it's annoying you so much then just stop playing it. Best idea so far! |
