Troll is close to hitting on how I started my team.
The part he missed - fill your YA with 16 and 17 year olds .... then start loading up on cheap 18/19/20 year olds when they're forced onto your senior squad (by the lack of YA spots) to replace same/lower physical/teamwork/skill guys. |

It is so much easier to build up a team now than it was in the beginning! I started up yesterday, after taking about 15 or so seasons off, and have used the TM to get a better roster than I had after playing season 1 and 2. There is much more to be had on the market. I'm guessing the market has cooled off from back in the day. There is no way I could get equivalent to draft picks as free agent signings....I mean no bids? Wow. In the beginning a draft pick type player came up and it was going to cost several millions minimum. lol
