I didn't just use dime the whole game. I used mostly dime yes but i used 3-1-7 in certain situations. dime isn't that friggin weak to a shotgun package irl how is it totally ineffective here

No game can ever replicate real life but this one gets pretty close and is the best one there is. You observe and find out what works and what doesn't and then adapt. Sometimes nothing works and it's just a bad day in the office (happens a lot to me), sometimes everything pans out just fine.

You gotta take in account that RZA is a zone pass defense only - IRL a zone dime is a medium and deep pass defense.
as for his running vs your dime - your defense was keyed up to pass defend and thats why you didn't much see your run D formations. Last edited on 2018-02-22 21:25:02 by punch drunk |

I haven't noticed much difference in the run. Last game, my opponent averaged 10 yards per carry SG4 vs 5-3-3.

First of all Pete has just changed the balance of formations at the last rollover so any data from prior to S29 is now irrelevant.
Data being the only way to prove that formation X is more effective than formation Y unless you secretly played thousands of scrimmages since the season started you have no idea what you're talking about as you simply don't have enough data to back up your opinions. Just to be clear I do not know either as I do not have enough data but at least I'm not sharing my opinion as if it was a fact on the forum. Opinions are pointless in this game, data is not. |
