There is someone on a winning streak that uses a playbook that, in theory, is a poster child for "lopsided tactics" but doesn't seem to get hit with the penalty...

After 28.5 seasons of striving to avoid such tactics, and routinely being beaten by teams who went SG4WR all game, I figured "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em"
Hardly a poster boy therefore 
But yes, they are working, and I'm surprised how well. |

But yes, they are working, and I'm surprised how well. You are not the poster boy, there are teams that use 1 formation all season. Although it is a little strange that you get on this roll using heavily SG2 without a single FB on the roster. |

a game that was so much fun one time, that I decided to support it. this season I had exactly 3 close games all season. The rest of the games, I was either dominating or got dominated. But everything is good and exactly how it should be

Stop spreading poison. I am on it, as you can clearly know from other discussions in the forum. You lost games in a game, and your world is going down...that is exactly the moment where I start thinking about closing RZA (again), since I really dislike to be responsible for such things...again, this is a game. And of course it gets worse from season to season since more people use such "low hanging fruits tactics"... 1+1=2

My opponent keeps using 4 wide receivers on every play.
I can't remember if I was so stupid that I didn't scout my opponent, or so arrogant that I didn't bother to change my tactics. All I know is that I should only have to put up 4 corner backs once. The rest of the time against a 4 wide receiver pass heavy offense my 533, 434, goal line, 443, 335 and 344 defensive formations should be good enough. 2 CBs should be able to cover 4 WRs without any problem. I won the Elite Bowl and the Super Cup last season. The most I can win this season is the Elite Bowl. This clearly shows that this game was great last season and now it completely sucks. I've gone on forum after forum and complained that my team struggles against SG and asked them not to use those formation against me, even though I use those formations in nearly 2/3 of my offensive plays. Yet, I think they may well carry on using tactics against me that a) I don't like being used against me and b) I refuse to prepare for. Finally, I am an extremely great manager. I was respected by pretty much everyone in the game but since I have posted a few messages about how the game has really fallen apart in the last few days, I now think people view me like a petulant cry baby. That's really unfair because I am great, so great I do need to take any responsibility for losses. None of them are my fault in any way. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh no, my bad. I completely misread this. It's not me at all. I failed to even qualify for the Super Cup playoffs. And last season I got relegated from from Thunder 1:1. Yet I think my losses are due to having an inferior team to some other players, and I don't always get my tactics right. Yet, I still hope to be winning the Elite Bowl in a few seasons when my team is competitive and I get my tactics right. I won't be relying on other managers being punished, just on my own skill as a manager. Seriously, never stop learning, and remember, it's only a game. This is supposed to be fun. It's not like anyone gets hurt or loses real money when they lose. The only things a loss can cost us are pretend money and the respect of others if we over react.  |

I play JonnyP at least twice per season, he is a very good manager. In fact my entire LB corp is built specifically to run down his +50 speed 250 million dollar QB. So I guess you could say that I have made my team adapt to face new realities. |
