In a good and close match the Diorite Lions proved to be too much for my team. After an Interception by Albert Andrews in his last match before his retirement my team was always in the lead. Half time lead 20:13. The third quarter had him equalise and score a second TD as my offense was still sleepy after the half time lunch. In the fourth quarter they were back in the game but an interception thrown ended my hopes with 7 minutes to go.
Nevertheless I am happy with this and I will take a Top 4 participation in the SuperCup any time. Special thanks to my two star defence players Albert Andrews and Akihiko Shibukji who are leaving for retirement much too early. |
