I guess I don't have to describe what type of strange tactics we limit the outcome for. It feels like a "let's cheat in a better way tomorrow" manual.

But I have never seen a LB starter, who was starting OL all game long as well - and so the limit is in place for gaining experience per game. |

On one hand it is strange, but Iron Man Football has been played before On the other hand, imo a manager does not have an advantage at all. He has a total number of snaps available and just decides to use more snaps on one player, so he has less snaps to share on other players. So is not obvious cheating |

I disagree. The gain of experience is calculated in a way not every players can gain 5 stars in his career. By changing the conditions (play him OL starter as well) the manager is changing an element of the inner game mechanics. We need these mechanics to maintain an environment in RZA to provide some fun. I cannot let such actions go and screw the fun of many others by a single manager. I cannot discuss this part, sorry.

This is your decision, period. I just think, as it is not obvious cheating, it would be fair to warn the managers that this tactic does not gain experience. |

Nice one...so I will add a rule like
rng = rand(1,100000) if rng==87987 dontlimitexperience This would be high level real life simulation then... |

Just check about OOP-Penalty "This will result in a quite high loss of abilities if a player is not playing at his position." - This is exactly what was done: we limit the ability to collect experience. |

If people want to look at real life, players don't gain experience linearly based on snap count. A player who plays 10 snaps a game, is gaining 100x more experience than a player who not playing at all. But a player who is playing 50 snaps a game isn't really gain 5x more experience. Its not linear. No game is ever going to be a perfect sim, and Pete has made a simplification to snap count here. Not really an issue for a guy to play iron-man, but a little unrealistic to think he is twice as experienced as everyone else after year 1. Its a reasonable compromise by Pete to keep the simple experience emulation while mitigating an exploitation loophole.
