Greetings Cheesehead, it's nice to be featured in a GOTW once again, it's been a while. Of course that might mostly be based on the fact that the Hedgehogs had to wait quite some time to be back in Thunder 1.1 again! Question 1. It looks like you will survive this season. How happy are you with the development of your squad so far? I'm looking forward to seeing my team surviving a level 1 season for the first time and I can't tell how proud I am. We had some struggle depending our team's philosophy and progress after having to move back to level 2 both of our last two chances we had. Nevertheless, we are back in the game and stronger than ever before! Question 2. A lot of people are scratching their heads why you have your QB Jakob Lorenz listed as a LB. Can you explain? Tough Jakob is a very talented and smart rookie and we want to develop him into the future Franchise Quarterback, we found he still lacks some understanding of the game's correlations and complexity. Especially regarding Defense play and reacting properly. Therefor we decided our well-experienced Linebackers Coach Darko Baumann to take charge of making up leeway. As soon as we find Jakob to be prepared, we're going to list him at the position he plays and always has been designated for. By the way, we are still searching for a new young and visionary Quarterbacks Coach. So if You are interested, get in touch! Mail your application to "Hedgehogs Oberammergau, Ettaler S..." ... I might find a better spot for this. 
Question 3. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? As the Hedgehogs seem to be the favourite in this game, we have to focus on minimizing our mistakes. I'm not concerned about our Defense as it has always been the core of our success in the past. It will purely depend on our Offense, mainly the playcalling, the Quarterbacks, their anticipation and decision-making, OLine protection and Runningbacks support. We wish batti from the Balenghi good luck and let's have a great game! 
Question 4. What was your favorite stat of last season or what were you most proud of? Playing a perfect season and, of course, winning the Bowl! Question 5. Name a future star from your Academy. Now this is a really tough one as we have so many promising youngsters. To name one amongst many, future defensive back Ingmar Krause will have an immense impact, especially in enemys' passing play. 
Question 6. If you could ask Pete just one question and he was forced to answer what would the question be? Hey Pete, when will Runningbacks be able to have special tasks in passing situations (e. g. fake rush, route running, screen/backup pass)? |

A belated reply from batti but it will still get added to this thread. Also both good answers to the Pete question, I think other managers have been very kind on Pete in a situation where they can ask ANY question :-)
Question 1. You are in a real fight for survival with juggernaut. How do you rate your chances of staying up this season and is there a plan B should you relegate? I don't think I will win many more games this season. In my team there are many talented young players, I will bet on them if I relegate to create a more competitive team in the future. Question 2. RB Trone Maxwell has shown flashes of brilliance but he hasn't gotten a lot of snaps. Would you consider that? The lack of continuity of Maxwell made me decide to put it out of depth chart and bet on more consistent players. Now is the fourth RB. Question 3. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? The defence. Question 4. What was your favorite stat of last season or what were you most proud of? The number of interceptions mades by my DBs and the TDs of my TEs. Question 5. Name a future star from your Academy. The QB Girolamo Sambugaro, in the future he will be a key player. Question 6. If you could ask Pete just one question and he was forced to answer what would the question be? I don't know! Give me the secret to be a master of RZA! |
