Not sure if this is a bug or not, because players can get hurt on the sideline in real life. But I had never noticed this happening before and not sure if it is supposed to or not. Anyway...
My QB was injured on a play in which he was not on the field. After throwing an incomplete pass on third down, this is what followed: 11:34 Jochen Lang (P) punts the ball from own 42 for 34, Tomasz Schneider (KR/C) is returning the ball, tackled by Martín Santana (G/L), this was a 7 yards return 11:31 DC Washingtonians: Alois Pytlík (QB) injured (Twisted knee) during the play And I double checked to make sure Pytlík wasn't in on that play. Given that he didn't take any special team snaps, I'm pretty sure he was not. |

On every other play it would have been a bug, for punting it is a glitch...
Yes, he was not on field. The statistical possibility for this to happen is smaller than me winning in the lottery - and I am not playing any lotto...so congrats for this, and I have no solution for it now. I am sorry. PS: we sideload a full attack roster once we load the punt team, since sometimes decide to go for instead of punting. This is kind of a bad functional design - but it works good for years. Except the QB gets "injured"... |

Thanks, and no problem. Won the game and got a few extra snaps for my back-up QB. Wasn't complaining...I just wanted to bring to your attention in case you weren't aware this happens, and as I said, it is possible for a player to get hurt on the sideline, so not necessarily unrealistic.
Guess I should go buy a lotto ticket |
