Morning all!
I'm starting this ridiculously early, as I'm going to be on holiday when the media center opens for S30 so won't be able to coordinate and get pledges in. But makes sense to plan ahead! Read the next post for a guide to how it works and what it's for, and then please note down in here what you will be pledging. For those who aren't quite sure how the media center works, here's a brief summary:
In each area of the game (we're in Fire 1.1), we've got to work together to make guaranteed money over the course of the season, for everyone who can contribute. But, we have to make sure we're over a certain threshold on the season (50% of max. funding goal is the minimum, or 800m... though 75% is even better). The first point is: DON'T PLEDGE until we've made sure we've reached this 50%. Example: If we make the 50%, and I pledge 50m before the end of 8th May, there is a 5x multiplier in the first gameweek, so I stand to get 10m+ back on 9th May, and then roughly a further 50m over the course of the season - a little in each gameweek. So, no matter how much you can contribute, as long as we reach the threshold, you make roughly a 20% profit at least. If we get to 75% or more, this goes up to 40%. Reply to this forum thread and let me know what you can spare. The more the better, because you'll stand to make more guaranteed money in S30, but you do need to have that money in your account to pledge on 7th or 8th May. So get saving if it's tight! 2. I'll collate all the contributions and make sure we've got enough. 3. If we have, I'll send messages out on 7th May to say go ahead and make your contributions, and we all come out as winners

The bot teams will automatically be moved to Fire 2.x so you shouldn't count them at all.
