1 last point, I scrimmages loads of random offensive formations with 75% blitzing and there was ALOT of sacks with non-FB formations still and that's with a 49speed 47agi QB..... so maybe this still needs sorting....

It is hard to judge without knowing the opposite skills. It would be better to know the skills difference. If your blitzers are such high skilled physical monsters as your QB...yes, successful blitzing is what I would expect without helping blockers like FBs...

I agree, the sacks for NON shotgun and Shotgun are very different, yet the running is about equal. So why would anyone play NON shotgun offense. Also would be nice to have choices on the Defensive end. 4-3-4 is not a viable option. Love to see the 3-4 and 4-3-4 as about equal depending on your personal. Also love to see an option to defend the pass. Not overpowering, but if I know the opponent is going to pass. I would like to have a defense. At this point you plug in the 3-4 and forget about it.

Angus, this raises a question: is your shotgun rush play successful because it is too successful by design, or is it successful because people use more pass related defenses and therefore weaken their defensive line efficiency?

Yes you could be right. Shotgun 4 might be doing well because Im running into their pass defense

I think for me this is the problem, can the RB not pass block in the code and is it far to much of a problem to include?

OK, this matches what I have seen in the database. So the question is, if you ran a scrimmage where team A is pass defending, and team B is rush defending all game long, and both teams run SG4WR all rush random directions...I would expect to see a quite big difference in terms of rus play outcome, advantage for the Defense of team B. The engine cannot do more than this, and should not do more than this in my opinion.

In my opinion you cannot replace an FB by an RB and expect to receive the same blocking results.

I just did not have enough time lately to dig deep into it, sorry Pete

I like it very much, that you apparently make adjusting easier, as the more plays are in, the more tendencies you see.

I don't think I can run so many scrimmages that I get enough data per situation to not be fooled by the random big play

I will for sure watch next seasons scouting data
