When the opposing QB is on fire it is just unstoppable

In todays game my opponent had a whopping 76% completions
despite he was passing 77.8 % of the time

on 66.3% of all plays my opponent ran exact the same play SG2 pass outside
I have a pretty good pass defense but I still gave up 75% completions on the same play over and over again
thats frustrating...

Aye sorry, I tried it because I thought I had no realistic chance against you... 'nothing to lose, let's see what happens'.

Very surprised by the result.

No worries, mate, it is a legal tactics
btw, I don't think our teams are that far apart

with a little distance, I tend to think that it is more the random influence than just the tactics.
I have beaten all SG teams easily before.

Randomness this season is huge, I have beaten a good team like AS Roma 73-3 (which should just not happen with 2 teams sporting nearly equal talent, must have been frustrating for Scratobones) and holding nearly all opponents below 300 yards but in 2 games I cant force a Punt all game

or look at yesterdays Spartans vs Bobcats game.

The Bobcats QB wasn't sacked for nearly 2 full seasons only to be sacked 6 times in one game? Come on. Yes , Sparties LBs are fast but there a lot fast LBs out there...

Just before someone understands this wrong: randomness (aka "spice") is no seasonal thing - and there were no changes, for seasons.

We have random things that change from game to game, other randomness changing from drive to drive, quarter to quarter or even from situation to situation...

Thanks for clarifiying! Very surprising for me, but random influence do surprise.

Could you think about pushing some of the game to game influence to the drive and / or quarter influence?

Sometimes you feel early in games that the hammer apparently did hit you and nothing goes right all game. I think it would be more fun if the momentum swings back & forth than if it always goes the same way.

However, I can imagine that it is tough to balance the right level of randomness. Upsets should happen, but Talent, Matchups and Tactics still needs to be visible

psst don't tell anybody that completing > 75% passes and not getting sacked when passing all day is the secret way to beat me

Good game Monday
