Congratulations Panthers. Good game and well played. Wishing you all the best in the championship game.
For the Aliens it's back to the drawing board. Our game plans have been far too conservative this year trying to avoid the host of interceptions that plagued us early on with our opponents seeming to magically be transformed into defensive superstars every team we looked to throw the ball. So in the end we shut ourselves down by far too conservative game play. It worked for most games (though only just in some cases) but when you come up against tougher teams you need to play to your strengths rather than to your weaknesses. We will take a fresh look at the playbook next year with hopefully some changes made to the game engine enabling us to do what we are good at rather than what we are bad at. |

I was so worried about today's game that I stayed up late making several defensive changes. You have a fantastic team and you've caused me to have an amount of concern that is usually reserved for games against SAS. |

Thanks for your praise dpierce - much appreciated! Best of luck in going the rest of the way.
Also Detroit I will try to be good but it's been no secret that I have been frustrated with the game engine changes this season. One little known fact (until now) is that I called my new playbook series 'Give Up' I know that some balancing mechanism was required but I think it swung too far. Anyway I am still here and hope to challenge again for the divisional crown and the bowl next season. I think Monarchs is a great division and whenever I got promoted to the Elite league I was sad to leave it. That explains why I was so quick to come back and to not even bother to leave it this season |

Well, I do and I will be back next season.
I pick Devils and Panthers for the bowl spots and Elite promotion. |

Now to play the Hammaburg Blue Devils, which will be our 1st ever game, the numbers suggest a win to the Blue Devils, but ELO is slightly in my favour. I hope to be competative tonight and we will have a great game. I see my team a bit more talented. But I fear my playbooks aren't good enough against the experienced teams (got smatched a couple of time in the supercup games) and most important your team had the better turnover ratio during the season. Let's have a good and see, who gets the honor to play elite league |

I have been using a no shotgun playbook all season and still not sure its good enough, but I think some more tinkering is in order. Have fun in the Elite league |
