Two more bite the dust - Rabaul Jacanas and Paquetes Bahía Verde. I doubt Fire will have enough teams next season to replace all of the bots in 1.1

I think I'm going to suggest a suspension of the Bot flush for this reason when they would benefit from spending a full season in 2.x to get some money and build up the roster. Very good first round of the playoffs. On the NC side, all PO teams had at least 12 wins, so it is not a surprise that both of the lower seeds won today...there just isn't much drop in quality from the 1 seed to the 6 seed. With the Cowboys and Knights losing, we have three teams left that have not been Elite (Dynamos lone exception). And in the AC, the North very nearly extended their dominance into the WC round. Nice to see a rookie team (Hogwarts) competing right away. |

Another exciting round highlighted with the Carolina Reapers pulling off the upset of the season in an OT thriller! Now we get an exciting third meeting between the Reapers and TigerCats who split in the regular season. We also know we will have an Elite team coming from the AC North, which dominated in the regular season and now in the playoffs, too.
The Maykop Dynamos held off a furious comeback as the Pitcairn Bounty Mutineers, who were trailing by 21 pts at the start of the 4th qtr, came up short in the red zone in what would have been the game-winning TD. The Dynamos get a rematch with my Chasers from a regular season defensive slug fest, which the Chasers won 14-6. Good luck all! |
