During the analyses of the overall "mood" in the forums and out of the feedback we receive from leaving players, there was one thing that popped up again and again: the players training progress should be a little bit faster.
Beside that, there is a suggestion coming up over and over: make players training progress depening on his age. The idea behind is very clear: a young player can learn things faster than a grandpa. And, an younger player has better abilities for physical gain than a grandpa. These two basic ideas were combined in the recent change, which the news is about. I really dislike revealing the exact numbers, but can tell you especially your Youngsters at the academy will surprise your tomorrow morning. But, no upside without downside: if your players hit a certain age, you will see a drop in their abilities to gain anything at training. Let's see how this works out For the poll: Option A: We could leave the calculation as slow as it is today. This will result in players ignoring their now better progress while negotiating contracts. This means as well the jumps between the single negotiating seasons wil be more harsh. But, it would create a better benefit out of the HR Department, why this is my personal preference. Option B: Adapt the expectation to the new training progress. It is the opposite of option A, therefore see A and imagine the opposite outcome. Last edited on 2018-05-08 18:52:17 by pete |

I'm confused. Turns out I've got mild autism so you need to be a bit more clearer buddy. You mentioned HR department but I'm kinda confused as to whether we end up losing more money which means higher wages or whether we actually gain and save money on wages?

The wage level per skill stays the same. You just reach it faster. Therefore this has nothing to do with "higher wages". Do I get your question the wrong way?

What's the benefits to the HR department? During the negotiation, there is a calculation of possible training progress for the offered period. We could leave it slow as per today, with the ups and downs mentioned under option A, or we could adapt it using the changed training progress (age-based), with the opposite downs and ups ... |

I tend to option A.
Because Option B would mean a young player knows how good he could become, as i understand. That would not be very realistic, i think. |

So if I understand correctly neither option results and losing money or paying extra wages towards players

There is another reason for A. The calculated trainings progress is estimated! It is estimated a coach would share fitness vs skill training in a certain ratio, for a certain period. Due to the raised progress, it will be "much more wrong" than it was before the traiining pace change...
