Make another check in the engine during passing plays.

Each DL who was not blocked during the DL vs OL has a certain chance to hurry the pass. A hurry should have a negative impact on the pass quality and should help any unblocked blitzer get a sack ( as the QB is not able to step up to avoid the pass rush)

in the play by play, there could be added a line

hurried by DE/DT/NT insert name here

to make up for it, the pass quality of a not hurried pass needs to be raised.

Pros:
more impact of pass protection in the passing game
NT/DT/OG have impact in the passing game

What makes you thinking it is not this way already?

Just more text...ok. I guess this could happen during scrimmage games, but for regular games we have quite an play by play text already

Sorry, but no. Raising the pass quality is out of focus.

Only one guy knows if it is already in.
If it is already in, I would appreciate, if you could think about increasing the impact of the hurries:

Reason is the game discussed in the skills undervalued? thread
SC game with horrible OL
He had a decent QB and good skilled WRs

Butt the starting OL of the underdog were 3 OLs with a 2.0* Rating. The remaining OL was filled by various positions. The total OL managed all game to succeed in 9 out of 480 Block Attempts. Still the QB managed to complete 62% of his passes for 6.4 avg against an Elite team.

Imo even the best QB can't put up those numbers when running for his life. A good OL matters, I thought you know that

would just be nice, so that people would see, DT, NT, OG, and C also matter on a passing plays

sorry was misleading.

I wanted to say, if passing quality on hurried plays will be decreased, then passing quality on not hurried plays needs to be increased, so that overall passing quality stays the same

I like it, would be good to know how our linemen D & O are doing in the passing game, all the checks might be in already so we only would need more text to tell us.

I also agree that hurries should impact the quality of passes. Or no, if the QB has a good poise stat which it isn't implemented in game yet. Might be a good development if the hurries are implemented to affect the throws.

Please check the scrimmage games

Blocking:
Alec Urweider (OG/R) blocked Arcadio Márquez (DT/L), Leopold Valach (OG/L) missed to block Néstor Sanz (DT/R), Daryl Wynne (OT/R) missed to block Holland Gorczyński (DE/L), Winford Marlowe (OT/L) missed to block Engin Hooks (DE/R), DLine has 3 members in shape after blocking

Is this enough?

Ok, I was more thinking of a total view. The overall pass quality is too high compared to rush. So, the average levl of passing success needs to lower. This means, I am fine with adding more power to hurries, but would not raise the pass quality to non-rushed passes. The overall pass quality would lower by this.

This would be perfect. I love the Scrimmages because all the information it gives you.

OK, but this is too much to carry for regular games too. Therefore it is limited to scrimmages.

will those 3 DL allways have an impact on the pass quality?
I thought it is not automatic i.e. at a screen pass the DL will not beat the OL in time to provide enough pressure to hurry the throw.

So I thought that all 3 will have a chance to provide pressure depending on their skills and the playcalling and how long the Receiver needs to get open.

a hurrried throw could still be completed but on a lesser percentage

Example:
Blocking:
Alec Urweider (OG/R) blocked Arcadio Márquez (DT/L), Leopold Valach (OG/L) missed to block Néstor Sanz (DT/R), Daryl Wynne (OT/R) missed to block Holland Gorczyński (DE/L), Winford Marlowe (OT/L) missed to block Engin Hooks (DE/R), DLine has 3 members in shape after blocking
Néstor Sanz (DT/R) hurries the pass of the QB

Bear in mind that the QB is not a stick sitting behind the pocket, specially nowadays where roll outs, sprint outs and quick rythm passes are in place to avoid pass rushers, besides QBs have Speed and Agility themselves too. Don't get me wrong I like the idea but there are some mechanisms in play already
