I have never seen pancakes in official stats. Arent they much more kind of a "fan stats" thing?

Ohio State usually gets credit for inventing (or at least re-introducing) the "stat" to boost Orlando Pace's Heisman campaign (it didn't work). But yeah, I don't believe NFL, NCAA or high schools officially track pancakes or any OL stat for that matter except maybe penalties against |

Pancakes are a stat on this game. Right next to blocks in the stat sheets of this game.
Just asking that stat be included in an additional place. As for Orlando Pace, he was a monster in college. Deserved the heisman over Danny Wuerfel. I'm not a The Ohio State fan by a long shot, but I also refuse to believe that an OL has never been the best player in football. I don't agree that pancake is a "fan stat" because I believe that putting someone on their ass helps win football games. |

OK, I get that. But, have you ever seen any official stats providing information about pancakes? Serious question. I am doing the stats for our local Football team since 10 years now, and I am sure there is no "pancake" section in there. We use official software, NCAA ruling.
