I have taken the difficult decision to leave Redzoneaction. I joined January 14th 2013 in season 6 and I have found myself the last year or so especially with the enjoyment of the game I used to have I no longer there. I have several issues which had helped me come to this decision.

Bullying that went on when Thomastem was here was just accepted and never dealt with. Just accepting it and expecting everybody to just get along is disgusting. Bullying is something that should never be tolerated or accepted in any Walk of Life or platform and the lack of action at the time was disgraceful. I know I'm not the only one that had issues with this user at least.

Lies is another issue I have had surrounding the game from Pete. Let Me Explain, when I first joined I had selected Argentina as my country because it would not let me scroll down and s e l e c t the UK on my mobile, I spoke to Pete at the time he change the nationality of my team and all my players and players names accordingly and it took him more seconds or minutes with no effect to the game to complete. And yet when the team Green Machine joined accidentally selecting the wrong country or otherwise Pete refused to change it as it would apparently cause issue with the coding or whatever excuse he gave it the time. Considering it was sorted for me and the refusal to change it for green machine this was a clear and blatant lie from Pete to a user and where there is one lie chances are there have been more. In fact I have seen the excuse that issues would be caused with coding and other background issues potentially caused being used on multiple occasions.

Another issue is admins refusal to deal with issues for multiple Seasons to shotgun formations under still ongoing problem with lopsided Tactics and teams using nothing but the same old one of two formations effectively cheating their way to Victory. Issues such as this does not make the game fair for everybody.

On another recent issue Pete admitted he had feedback in a way which had been aggressive to an extent that could be considered minor and yet he called it out as "abuse".

I've seen one manager not too long ago leave because certain issues will not dealt with and another manager several season ago was kicked off the game and was given the blame for something that was not his doing.

The victimising of Managers and the lies that I had witnessed through this game is shocking and I would never ever treat others being in this kind of Position of Power than what I have witnessed myself through Redzoneaction.  I cannot and will not put money into a game that cannot respect others and treat them as such  by those in a position of power.

A few of you may be aware that I suffer from autism although mild and depression which I have never been given help for. I have had to repeatedly deal with stress emotionally and mentally that I can no longer tolerate or continue to put myself through. I also suffer from curvature of the spine which causes back pain due to stress being one of the symptoms and was told by Doctor last year I need to avoid those environments. Because of my depression I find myself sat at home tonight trying to occupy myself going through more emotional stress and depression with a few thoughts of suicide because of the manner of which I have been treated not only through here but my life in general and no one should be pushed or put in that position. And just to make clear for any of you concerned I have no intention of following through on those thoughts before any of you start calling emergency services lol. Noone should be put in that position, NOONE.

Just writing this already makes me feel some relief and although I have loved playing with you all I have to do what's best for me. I want to thank everybody who has supported me, helped me and those who I have considered friends over the years, you'll never know how much that has meant to me. Both of my teams Severnside Cardinals(Thunder) and Bristol Wizards(Claymore) will be leaving.

Redzoneaction has been such a big part of my life and I wish you all the very best of luck in all of your future's.

Good luck and keep fighting the good fight. Depression is certainly difficult to deal with. I hope you find healthy ways to cope.

How you get 2 teams tho?

Sir,

There is an ongoing changing of the game that specifically relates to some of your mentioned complaints.

I myself thinks some of these playbook changes are a bit far but they certainly address some of your concerns.

I myself have found pete to be pretty fair and even handed. Thomastem has been gone for sometime and I don't see why he would even be mentioned at this point in time.

Heck hang around. You need to only look at RZA for what it is (like every other I-net game). It's only a game and something for us to find some enjoyment from participating in.

It's just a game.

Good luck to you.

It's a shame to see an established team go (2 teams?) but i understand you having to do whats best for you.

I hope you can get some relief from your pain and depression as it can be life changing. in recent months i have been given a new medication for my spinal condition which was finally diagnosed as ankylosing spondylitis which is a form of inflammatory arthritis and it has changed my life. push your GP for further tests if there are some you havent had, new tests if you havent had any for a few years. referrals to rheumatology if that hasn't happened yet or happened some time ago. things change in our bodies but also medically.

good luck.

I am refusing the complaints of handling the community in a less equal way, as I refuse to be called a liar, a "fucked tosser" (in another forum area). Since this user is ongoing with such calls, I was adding ban to prevent him from further communication in the forums and via PM.

I never deleted any forum entries, except in discussions where I added a notice to it I would do so to keep the collection of facts clean.

There was a time when moving a team including players from one country to another had to be done player by player. Once I was asked a few more times for it, I added a function which does the job in a few clicks, so I could be more helpful to those selecting a wrong country.

I was always trusting in my managers to know where the boundaries are, and I was never fast using mechanism like bans. And I trust them to know if playing RZA is just playing a game or kind of an obsession. I don't feel guilty at all.

For the 2 teams thing: If I know the manager in question for a certain time, I am allowing him to manage a second team by adding some rules to his gameplay like "not losing on purpose". I am monitoring such teams more closely, and I am taking care there are no player transfers between these teams. On top, we do not allow having two teams in the same region.

Pete,
Owner

No complaints from me Pete, I don't know how you put up with all the hassle, moans and groans. But keep it up, you have my full support. This game was a great find, and helps pass any spare time that I have.

Sad to see a veteran manager go.

@Passionatelad,

I may not agree with all of what you said (about the game), but wish you the best still.

Very sad to read you didn't have as much help as troubles (don't know the right synonym here, sorry) within the RZA community. Even though you mentioned one problematic (former) manager, I'm sure most RZA managers are on the opposite side of the spectrum.

Good luck to you, wish you the best

whatever the reasons for someone leaving and their personal issues, I never think that hanging dirty washing out in public makes any sense or has any benefit for anyone.

A simple so long, farewell is more than adequate IMO.

I fully agree. For the admins post above: I was thinking about deleting the whole thing, but thought it would be wrong somehow. But since I decided to keep it I simply had to answer the complaints as well. I do not consider this to be wrong.
