Half way through the season ... what are your impressions of the, let's say, first 5 draft picks 2018. #1 Baker Mayfield (QB), Browns - a next HOF? i think so. #2 Saquon Barkley (RB), Giants - worth it? definitely. #3 Sam Darnold (QB), Jets - i dont know, didnt follow much. #4 Denzel Ward (CB), Browns - 3 Interceptions ... not bad for a rookie #5 Bradley Chubb (DE), Broncos - 8 Sacks ... not bad for a rookie (expand the list if you like. e.g. late rd picks, who was a steal, etc) #6 Quenton Nelson (OG), Colts - Colts O-Line being considered top 5, no sack during the last 200 pass attempts. Perfect situation behind Hicks and next to Mack, Trevathan, with a DC that has a knack for developing LBs. he led a really good defense in tackles in 2 games. I was very happy myself when the 49ers released Rueben Foster, and I was a massive fan out of college of him. The fact is though that violence against women especially DV is deplorable and if it's happened them that individual should be heavily sanctioned. I was very disappointed when the Redskins picked him up. I hope that Hunt is left off rosters of the remaining 31 teams until such time as he has served a sanction. I really admire the Chiefs as an organisation for their stand against one of the top players in the NFL this season. Hunt was a legit season award chasing player on a team hunting for a Superbowl. Foster was a potential star who was injury riddled on a going nowhere team.. The Cheifs made a very admirable and brave call. |

Browns release him after it came out he could go to jail for 25 years. Seahawks picked him up sortly after that. Josh gordon same story. Teams were fighting over him despite all his drug supensions and other stuff But when you make a statement like keapernick you are completly ignored by all the teams.... |

insane win vs. maybe the best team in the league Fangio was a magician in this one, outcoaching McVay on a day Trubisky threw 3 picks, unbelievable. Trubisky is obviously still bad and the bottleneck of the offense, but damn that talent around him and especially the D are beautiful to watch and these guys are having fun please stay healthy everyone!
and the Santa's Slay play call! only linemen on the field, running play action off of "the new fridge" Hicks to an eligible OT, amazing! we might have missed on our franchise QB, but Nagy, though still learning, seems to be a game changer Last edited on 2018-12-12 23:12:31 by Buddy Ryan |
