which will be quite tough to simulate.Except if there is a way to index their level on the league they are, like suggested in my previous post. |

It is so long since I began to play that I cannot remember the strength of my initial team. The one thing I know for certain is that it was rubbish. Without mentors and friends I would have struggled for a while longer. Also I began in 3.x which no longer exists so there may be no current comparison.
As I understand it bots are stronger than they used to be. However, we want them to be A) weak enough for new teams to usually beat but B) strong enough to prepare new teams for 1.x Some options I would offer: 1. Turn off auto bot flush to 1.x (even for bowl game winners and losers) so that managers have time, if they wish, to build their team. 2. Publish the average strength of each league so that managers know what to expect and to what level they should be aiming. 3. Give new managers a team to meet condition A & B above. 4. Set bot teams to meet condition A & B above To give an example - suppose that this season the average strength of RZA is 80, 1.x 70 and 2.x 60 then all new teams coming in should have a team strength of 55 and bots a strength of 50. (It may be easier to calculate this just once per season) |

Wouldnt that result in a team joing stronger region A would have stronger initial players, while a team in region B (being weaker than region A) would receive a weaker team?

No, because I said the average.
Of course that might mean a newer team in one region having a stronger team than an existing manager in another but I wouldn't expect it to be significantly better and anyway this should even out over time. You could even apply the average regionally and/or limit choices so as to place newer teams in the region(s) that you wish. |

The solution cannot be to adjust bot teams. The real solutions can only be in a real reform of the league structure.

in a real reform of the league structure. As said many times that won't happen. I would prefer closing RZA over changing the whole leagues structure. Things we are bound to until RZA is dying: 32 teams per league containing 8 divisisions in 2 conferences, 8 regions |

1/ Playoff game between 2nd of League 1 and 3rd of Elite. From an awesome game, you get an almost perfect one! No idea how hard it would be to code if ever Pete agrees some day. |
