Good idea Pete, I like it.
Would it be possible, not now of course, but in the semi-distant future, if needed, to do the same thing with regions? Like instead of combining Fire 2.1 and Fire 2.2 into just Fire 2 could you combine Fire 1.1 and say Thunder 1.1 into Thunfire 1.1? |

This is much more difficult, since it would be a real gamechanger in terms of the whole math for Elite relegation/promotion.

I presume this will also change the number of divisions in the Super Cup down from 50 to 34, which would make qualifying for the play offs harder creating a bit more intense competition in the SC.
