Looking at my most recent RZA elite league game against Juggernaut Jackalopes on 11-17-2018 I noticed what seems like an impossible interception. In the 2nd quarter with 6:35 time remaining my QB threw an interception 15 yards downfield to the same MLB who was blitzing on the same play. If he is blitzing and my QB throws it 15 yards downfield he should not be there to intercept it. The play starts at my own 46 and gets intercepted at their 39. He should not be 2 places at the same time.

As often before mentioned, "seem to go for blitz" does not mean he was blitzing. It was a fake blitz to make your QB feel in a hurry.

Talking of impossible interceptions. Imagine if you read that your QB throws a 2 yard interception to the opposing nose tackle. You would not believe it right?!
Well that is just what Roethlisberger did yesterday

Ok so you stated that the words "seems to" means a fake blitz so the LB could make the interception 15 yards downfield. Then why is my QB getting sacked when the LB "seems to" be blitzing? This happened at least twice in the 4th quarter of my last game against Landru Athletics. How can the same LB who "seems to" be blitzing be able to sack a QB if it is a fake blitz? I still do not understand. I know he cannot do both in the same play. I think the LB should be eligible to do only one or the other in a play. The key word being eligible. If the LB commits to a blitz he should not have a chance for an INT, and vice-versa. Say it is this way in the game engine and I will be satisfied.

The engine always says "seems to be blitzing.' This simulates the broadcasters not sure what the action is. The Steelers had a nice defensive package a few years ago where the OLBs snuck up to the line, then backed off when the ball snapped. Quite a few times, the opposing QB thought blitz and delivered a pick on a slant pattern to the OLB.
Seems to be blitzing is crowding the line. Not necessarily blitzing. My team's MLB showed "Seems to be blitzing" and creamed the opposing QB for an 11 yard sack. So sometimes, they do actually blitz. |
