Someone mentioned recently that the playbook now has both green and red fields in the distance to GL.

I have to say that I am totally confused as to what they mean. I had previously used > and < as simple mathematical symbols meaning greater than/less than the distance to my opponents goal line. Now when using either symbol I am not getting the playbook to respond to what I want to do.

Can someone please explain what these mean:
Green <35
Red < 65

Green >35
Red > 65

Green: lower than X - Red: greater than X

Just to make clear that <35 is different from >35

This is what I thought. I can't see any difference between them.

In offensive playbook; GREEN < 35 means you have "less than" 35 yards to go, RED > 65 means you have "greater than" 65 yards to go.

In defensive playbook; GREEN < 35 means your opponent has "less than" 35 yards to go, RED > 65 means your opponent has "greater than" 65 yards to go.

I get this obviously but my problem is with the green and red. What do they mean? they both go from 5 to 95.

I know understand it having thought some more about it

If I wanted a rule to apply for red zone only I would use <20. If I wanted a rule to apply everywhere except the red zone I would use >20. That is correct right?

If we only had lower than (< we would not be able to create one rule that deals with that.

I think the red and green threw me off. Without the colouring I would have gotten it first time perhaps
