did my team { in the Bowl game} not play any 4th down FG or punts? as I had in orders, it cost us the offensive plays.
 order was - go for 4th-never... try FG on 4th ,15yds - playbook 4th [green95] GoalO punt.. FG [green40] . So unhappy at the way the team playbook let me down - killed my ranking 1st too.. I had my young lad at QB , my fault for not seeing that, BUT my high wage 3.5 talent QB threw away interceptions in 4thQu too.Last edited on 2019-01-08 22:35:50 by LarryBuns |

Better use the check function in your playbook. Seems you have conflicting and out of order rules.

But my orders are as seen, DON'T go for 4th down,punt or FG plays as playbook
 ie- punt from green 95 yds, or FG from green 40 yds. as orders, NEVER go for a 4th down yardage. never had a punt or FG in game 1st half. thanks |

Check your playbook with the checker.
Means, take the scoring Situation, Yards to go, Yards to Goal line, and so on and check which Play should have been taken. If a Play is highlighted, that should have been the one. If None is highlighted, the game Settings are checked and taken. EDIT:You don't have to have a specific 4th-down-play in the playbook. There might be an ALL Wildcard set at the wrong place and then suddenly THAT line is taken. Last edited on 2019-01-09 13:14:37 by jack6 |

I looked at this idea of check. I put in 1 of the 14, 4th down plays- result in check- any 4 any >30 wishbone PUNT. that was from opp46 - So WHY did we NOT punt?? I then took stock of 4th down plays as seen in Bowl game- own44 4th-1~ Good ~opp19 4th-9~ own37 4th-12~ opp39 4th-12 ~own37 4th-8 ~opp46 4th-3 ~opp46 4th-9 ~own41 4th-9 ~own35 4th-11good ~own49 4th-9 ~own8 4th-19 ~own32 4th-7 ~own33 4th-2good ~own43-4th3 My Kicker~KO was only kick play.. It looks like you were using a different playbook in the bowl compared to your previous league and SC games, sorry to ask a stupid question but are you checking the correct playbook?

not sure, But as I didn't have ANY 4thdown plays on orders, would that not override playbook? will check your idea. maybe -right, as U say it was a new playbook. But I had any 4thdown as a green95 play to punt!!

I don't know if anyone has answered elsewhere but the game orders only kick in if there is nothing applicable in the playbook.
The playbook works from top to bottom, so if a 4th down pass/ rush appears above the punt/ FG for the scenario in question, the pass/ rush will happen. |
