Welcome all and good luck this season! There are several new teams that I don't recognize. Hopefully you'll enjoy the game and stick around as we try to repopulate Fire.
Despite so many new teams, somehow I got stuck playing against my old rivals in the NC East. Looking forward to the matches. |

Okay, bumped up to Fire 1 and expecting to get my head handed to me regularly with the talent level of this new league. Will my fans be rabid enough to consider building a fanshop? Also, when to consider moving Youth Academy up another level?

From the best I can tell, your team's performance has no effect on fanshop sales. Your shop makes sales every day at 1:00 and an extra, bigger round of sales during home games. I think the only factor is unit price, so you can try to tinker with that if you want to try and maximize profits. The YA question depends on how you want to build your team. I think the premium YA is essential because that is my preferred way to get my players, so I would say to do it as soon as you can afford it. Others think it is waste of money because they buy players off the TM (and right now, it does seem to be a buyer's market). |

prchaser offers sound advice on enabling the Premium Academy as soon as financially possible, but I think that you should do a combination of the Academy and TM. YA kids take a while to develop, but that can usually be offset by buying a player or two to start now while your YA guys develop.
I haven’t checked the schedule yet, so I don’t know if our teams meet this year. I experienced a rough first year in Fire 1, but have been a playoff team in the two years since. Good luck building your team! |

To all Fire teams, 1 especially but 2 as well, I want rivalries to be part of the culture of our league. That wasn’t too hard before pete allowed league transfer, but now teams can leave the league, and thus break rivalries. I hope that all current and future teams will join with me in a pledge to not transfer leagues under any circumstances. Keep Fire rivalries hot.

I came into Fire with a built in rivalry with another new coach, of the Berlin Racoons. We both moved up, the rivalry lives!

And just a few seasons ago this was one of the toughest divisions in Fire when PR Chaser and Frenchkiss were in there and when Louisiana wasn't bot... |
