Pete, has there been a change I have missed to contract negotiations recently? I had a guy refuse to sign a new contract when the numbers I was offering would in the past have resulted in an acceptance.

The change was a couple of seasons ago - expected player development over the contract period offered now has a greater bearing on the salary that will be accepted.
