Please look at my SC game from today and tell me how this was even possible. I have a solid O-line and a great QB who is also over 52 speed (11 sacks today given up). I also was medium thumb vs thumbs down.

Maybe you should have won the game if the engine would just do a plain comparison of skills. But it is much more complicated. I would place a quite high bid you would win x out of 10 games, and x would be greater than 5. However, this single game was won by the other guy with a margin of just one point. Might be disappointing for you, might be a good day for that other manager...but I don't feel the result to be that much out of a reasonable range

In defense of pete's sometimes very unreasonable game engine..
Earnest Hurley who got 6 of those sacks is a 50 intel - 50 str - 48.5 speed track star with some agility. Good LBer! and strange games sometimes do happen in RL football too. and both your teams were pass heavy play calling. Means the D was pass heavy defending. His was mostly SG4 and yours had a lot of SG2. Probable both got hit with the lopsided tactics penalty. He does have better coaching. Guess that was the big difference and player skills seem to be of less importance in RZA outcomes than in RL. . Last edited on 2019-03-01 02:22:16 by punch drunk |

Dices rolls.
I remember losing by way more with a rating gap higher and the opponent team being thumb down: Painful memory On the other hand I am sure you defeated way better teams in the past while you were an underdog. Anyway, you still should crush me in our soon match up.  |

The dice gods must hate me. I made it to the SC finals last season with all the same starters on offence and defense. Now two games in a row that I can not beat vastly inferior teams. Another loss like this and I am going to sell all my starters and just play to increase my bankroll.

so if you lose 3 games in a row that you think you shouldn't lose you are gonna write off your entire team and sell your starters? |

My team is built to win now. They are all starting to get to retirement age at the same time. I would hate to miss again this season on qualifying for Elite just to make it after next season and Murphys Law strike with both my QB's retiring along with my O-line.
