He was not happy for quite some time and that did likely was the icing on the cake.
I don't think he will get back. |

In my communication with him he mostly expressed boredom with the game now. There was nothing that was worth pursuing anymore. The game engine was part of it though. Think he felt he had pushed it as far as he could but was not getting the extra return on his time investment.
He is also an avid historical war gamer so I like to think that he is spending all night up now playing those games 
If he is really gone he'll be very much missed by me. He was a mentor to me in the beginning and taught me a lot. |

10 games into the season, how many people would thought the two undefeated teams would be the Yellowcakes and Constanta Sailors!

10 games into the season and we have:
- 2 bots in Elite - 3 in Dragons 1 - 4 in Admirals 1 - 5 in Thunder 1, Claymore 1 and Galaxy 1 - 6 in SeaDevils 1 - 8 in Monarchs 1 - 10 in Fire 1 This has to be a new record for number of bots in the top 9 leagues  Last edited on 2019-05-21 07:36:28 by Meitheisman |

There is a critical lack of mass at some point I think where RZA's future is in doubt. Thing is that since Pete enabled the automatic notification of a new team in your league, I am very surprised by the number of new joiners. 17 in Thunder 2 in the last month, basically a new joiner every other day. I've send a welcome mail to everyone of them. Only yesterday did one reply. Perhaps this is normal behaviour for a free web based game where you need to sign up to see what it is really like but still... |

Only Pete knows the figure for sure but my guess would be that the majority of people who join stay less than a month or so and many log in only once and never come back.
