No, the issue is a quarterback should be on the field for a punt.

Same thing happened to me once. Pete said it is just a rare glitch that he couldn't figure out but happens so infrequently, it isn't a major problem

Yep. It happens because each punt formation loads a QB in the background, in case you go for the 4th down instead of punting the ball.
What I wanted to achieve in my code: never use this QB, except you need him. What I wrote down: use the QB as well, sometimes... I was not able to figure out this mistake, since it does not happen very often. |
