In my last game in the last quarter I had a play with the Big I form where my kicker was the fullback. Now, my bad that I didn't set a backup FB on the depth chart ... but why did the system choose the kicker as backup and not a OL or TE? Is it just random?

if there are no further settings in the dc, the engine tries to pick out of the same position group, and if this fails it ges random.
