Judging CBs and SFs off of solely tackles isn't all that great as those are catches they've allowed and preventing the need to tackle is their first job.

I like the suggestion.

Disagree with the wording here through. It's great in judging CB's and Sf's, but more can be added to get a full sense of their talent. A pass deflection leader in the NFL is fortunate to get 20 pass deflections in a season. The top 50 falls between 10- 15 per season. So while still a great suggestion, it shouldn't undervalue missed tackles, that leads to first downs, and or touchdowns.

I also like this suggestion very much

If it is easier to implement changes to the passing game engine at once, please also think about including this suggestion:
Add hurries to the play by play of the passing game
we still have games, where teams pass all day, get just 10% successful blocks but still complete >75% of passes

and if pass breakups & pressures brings passing avg down too much, I would suggest to increase the add yards after a missed tackle, especially when just few defenders are in coverage
