I was keeping the MOTY option for the palyoffs. But right now I have noticed that I do not have this option available for my first ever playoff game. I am quite sure I did not used it early so I think it could be a bug...

Chapter "Game settings" There is no MOTY available in the Leagues Playoff / Bowl / Relegation games, Supercup Playoffs and Bowl, Champ of Champs cup and in Friendly Cups. |

Ok. I read the info on the game setting menu and understood that it was possible to use MOTY in playoffs. My fault!

From the match intensity info on the game settings:
"If you set this to "match of the year" your players will perform better, but they will receive a bigger hit on Physical condition. "Relaxed" works opposite. On Friendly Cup matches this setting has no effect. If you let your default configuration work for you this setting stays at normal - you have to change it for each single game by hand. Please note there is only ONE chance to play Match of the Year per match type and season! Be careful when selecting this setting, it could be you use that single opportunity too early in your season. Regular league matches and postseason Playoff matches count as on single match type, while relegation matches are its own match type." |

I agree that does seem to suggest play offs count. perhaps a simple rewording is in order.

Interesting ... I have never clicked on Play Intensity help before.
I found this in the change log 2012-05-12 22:06:36 MOTY changed, no MOTY in games except regular league, Friendlies and Supercup Division Maybe the "Play Intensity help" was not adjourned accordignly Last edited on 2019-06-10 14:26:47 by PJRAVENS |
