How much does dayform impact the overall calculations? Without knowing this i can't vote yes or no.
If less than 10% than leave as is if more then reduce but not remove |

Personally it feels like the dayform factor is too high and you can loose games by it, which you wouldn't ever loose in real life.
Anyway fine to keep it, if the majority likes it as it is, but we should know, how high the impact can be and make the dayform also transparent in the game center. I have lost many tight games and got shot a few times. I am not sure which ones resulted from bad dayform or a bad playbook. Without more information at least myself won't be able to ever build. Probably I will need a mentor. I am happy for any PN. |

I have never heard about dayform in RZA before today.
I think in real life despite the effort spent to prepare a game something could go wrong anyway. Why not in RZA? It is frustrating... yes... are you not enough strong to survive? I do not believe it. Scounting an opponent is time consuming, write a proper playbook even more... dice already rolls ... what the hell we need dayform or injuries? Do you really think you know what your players did the night before the game??? I would keep dayform, trusting Pete regarding how it effects game results. But I would report on the manual at least a raw description of what dayform is and how it works in RZA. (Can it effect any single players? coaches decisions and player positions ? the whole offense or defense? ...) About Dayform of both teams revealed in the Game Stats ... nice to have.... but how does it work in real life.... Your QB rate in the last game was 85 and his average is 102... Had him a bad day or the opponent defense was strong enough or had a good day , or overperformed? Did you ever find the answer written in bold in the game stats ? I would add, that when I'm watching NFL games, I can call the result within the first 10 mins 90% of the time, because game plans have gone to pot / or are working a treat by that time and it's very difficult to change the game plan in reallife...... In RZA, you can't at all....
So knowing how they are feeling before the match might help reduce peoples expectations alot |
