Thanks. Well your kicker is not that bad. He nailed a 60 yarder! In fact that and your two long bomb TDs had me cursing. At that stage I was certain we would lose. I think those three plays put it (for me) into the slightly crazy category. Another close game between our two teams!

I apologize for my inactivity in the forums this season, I started a new job like the first week of the season and have been insanely busy since then, things should be settling down now though

Interesting games this weekend - the Leopards and Aliens face each other for the 4th time this season (2 league, 1 Supercup) with the Leopards looking for revenge after 3 defeats. Meanwhile St Leo are looking to avenge their defeat at the hands of the Gators. The winners of these two games face each other for a chance to go on to the Bowl game!

This game is really weird or I just still don't get it.
Last season I really felt ready to compete in the Elite League and it was just disappointing. So I decided for a full rebuild around my young QB and got rid of 21 top players with ending contracts. Funnily this is my best season in RZA now, even if my Supercup season ends with the expected loss against the Runners on Monday. It feels like there is not just a day form factor, there seems to be also some season form... To finalize the rebuild I will reduce my roster to the minimum at season end loosing basically the remaining starters except a few exceptions on positions, where I don't have enough young players yet. On the one hand I don't want to give up a bowl opportunity, but on the other I don't think it would be fair to steal a much more competitive team the elite promotion spot. Would it be tanking to play the Conference Championchip with the backups on the friendly playbook? |

Well played Jack. You won the important game. It all turned on that penultimate drive where we failed to get a TD and settled for a FG. I need to recheck my PB because in real life I would have gone for the TD on 4th down.
Of course I think the real reason that you won was because Pete's RNG was kept getting stuck on 8. Did you see how many plays you ran for 8 yards - pass or run = 8 yds

This game (and I mean RZA not the Conference Championship game) is about management and there are right now a few path which your team can go. If some just don't fit with the planning of next season, well I guess it makes sense to make them the least likely ones. It happened in the past with other managers and will happen in the future. But ... if you like to get rid of you players, why not fire them NOW and save some money? |
