This probably was implemented because of the restrictions of the engine, but I'd like to be able to suggest formations that aren't balanced as far as the WRs go, which obviously isn't allowed at this time. Would it be possible to change that, so you could have 1 WRR and 2 WRL or even 1 WRR and 3WRL?

this was restricted to prevent abuse of imbalanced formations. See, a manager that was tricked with such a strange formation cannot counteract. This is our little difference to real life.
Sorry, but this path down the road is a no go from me. |

Nickel and Quarter formations??? Both are solid against unbalanced offensive sets.
Maybe you could counteract unbalanced offensive formations by adding some unbalanced defensive formations. |

I could, and it would create the situation where the offense plays a strange formation, and the defense counters with an even more strange situation. This would cause so many major issues during simulation...thanks, but no.
