Oh, it's definitely me getting relegated next season. If not for two lucky wins against Johnny and the fact that I got the "easy" schedule (all of my other wins came against teams with losing records), I'd already be planning another SD season next season. My QB is no where near Elite, and I don't think I will have much free time next season to prep for teams (looking to move and change jobs in the next month or so)

Well, Sailors also need to pay attention to the finances so next season, we will try to compete but we will have the weakest roster in the last 3-4 seasons....so very good chances for a promoting team to stay....

For me the worst news come also from the financial department. We just finished negotiations with all the players :
Weekly wages Players $ 6,390,946 
So there will be some players leaving the team. Especially as I have four excellent young QBs on the roster. three are too young for the league but not having promoted will give them a chance to evolve. |

6.6M per turnover for me.…
I didn't cut my expensive players just because I will play in Elite for one season. On S37 I have for sure to go to 4M trying to recover the big amount of money I will lose this season. |

It seems not so long ago that I had among the cheapest team of our league and was still able to come up with the same results. Now I am moving towards having the most expensive team with many players hitting their best age. It is quite unsettling.

You are talking about a period pre-media center and training boost. Now you do not need money for the transfer market, you can use it on salaries. It became quite easy to have a 80+ team but his comes with a high cost. And without a 5 millions team, you can not even hope to compete in the Elite.

I had that big boost this season, the renewals were painful after I pushed skills up in an attempt to stay in Elite... 7 players retiring though, 6 of them with 150-190k salaries (5 of them on defense!), so it'll drop next season significantly... |
