Definitely feels like promotions are too early. I guess that's due to the numer of bots but there should be a better way to equalise teams. Anyway best of luck!

I'm alright taking my beatings as I improve my team. But playing teams more my rating would obviously be preferable.

Don't worry too much, I bet you will win more than 2 games. There aren't many veteran teams anymore. And the others aren't too much ahead. You always have a chance to beat a team that is ranked 10 points higher talent wise, especially if you understand the game engine and have a good playbook.
Sure you will be smashed in some games, but focus on experimenting with your playbook. Don't carry to many players, which won't help you in 3+ season and keep your salary reasonable.
A 4 star player doesn't need to perform better than a 3 star player, if the skill aren't well balanced, especially the physicals.

Got my #4 pick in the 2nd round. 20 yo TE with Ball Manager trait .

My last draftee will also be not that bad, so it will be 3 valuable additions to my roster.

I've been quite fortunate in this draft. Got my #2 pick in the first round and #1 in the second.
The first one is a bit old OL with really nice stats and a Stone Wall. The second guy is a quite interesting prospect. He has a quite low strength as a LB, but it's uncapped, he's young and has Ball Stripper. I thought that he would be a great SF, now I've got to reconsider

Your LB coach has 82 CP and you don't have any SF coach. I'd leave him as LB, so that he trains faster and switch him to SF when he's skilled enough and training speed is not that important anymore.

Yeah, I know - I'm just making my long-term plan. However I've considered him as a good SF, because I thought that his strength is capped at around 37. But it isn't
With 48.4 Speed, al least 42.9 Strength and 45.7 int I would consider him being a LB rather than a SF.

Fun fact - there are currently only 4 BOT teams in Monarchs 1.

I managed to nab my #1 choice with pick #29, a high skill WR with Long Carrying, should be a valuable addition to my offense.

Second pick was my #9 choice at pick 61, a decent LB (not that I need another with Phillip Kohn running all over the field, but hey, always good to have solid backups.)

My last pick was expected to be junk and instead at pick #93 with my #34 choice I grabbed a pretty good OL. He will at least be a strong backup in emergencies with the potential to start in a few seasons.

I am quite pleased with my picks this season

Last pick was #14 in the draftorder. 21yo TE with Ball Manager trait. His strength and speed are capped in low 40, but he will get his snaps as a backup in few seasons,

Congrats on the win, Blas Luna is a real heaetbreaker with his int on the 1. For a brief second in the fourth quarter there was a glimmer of hope ... Then your team went up the field 8+ yards per play, my team went three and out, the stands emptied, and all hopes and dreams were crushed.

Two tough away league games in a row for me: Bruisers and Aliens. Two loses with a low margin would be ok, one win would be great, two wins would be .
