Has anyone done any testing on running their QB consistently?
Are there situations where is advantageous to give it to the QB rather than the RBs? QB sneak/ 3rd and 1 situation? What formations would you recommend? Steve SD Blitz Last edited on 2019-10-09 20:05:46 by Solana_Steve |

Check out the Leatherhead-League matches. There should be plenty of data about it.

Maybe you can have a look on Dragons 2 stats (rush TD) from season 35. Or Dragons 1 stats (rush TD) from this season.

Thing is...after you train up all the standard QB skills, your Carrying is probably not great...so it's looking like fumbles can be an issue.

That is a big concern. With this in mind I usually call this play when I am close to the goal line or eventually on 3rd & 1. And I do not remember any lost fumbles in those situations so I think it is worth to use it on special situations.

My QB regularly gets good yardage (for a QB), i see him as the Russell Wilson of Dragons 1! lol
I agree with link, more successful when short yardage is needed. Sorry if that is an obvious statement. I wonder if it is too easy for the QB to get yardage personally, or perhaps my QB is just talented in that area. I wont complain. |

Really - - the question should be if it's easier than a RB for the QB to get yardage. Or in what situations...

True, perhaps I just pick where to make QB rushes very well. :/

EDIT: Not sure if position affects injury risk in RZA actually I like to make my QB run sometimes. I did not seen him get injured during a game on the last 2 seasons. I think the position affects the injury risk but while rushing with the ball the QB is still a QB for the game engine. So the risk is probably the same. |
