Week 4 is over. Where's this reptilian season prediction?! My cephalopods need some locker room motivation.

Surprised to see Gators and Bruisers with 2 losses apiece already.

I am surprised as well, regrettably one of my losses was to a team that became BOT the next day....

Well my season predictions are a bit late this time around, however, I have 5 games into the season to use to better inform my picks. Here goes

AC EAST

TORCHWOOD ALIENS (5-0)
Easily can be a one loss team entering the playoffs with Home Field Advantage

GRANITE STATE GREY WOLVES (2-2)
Will likely struggle this year, but with perseverance, I am sure they will be able to contend in coming seasons, expect 8-8 this year.

IRONCLADS (2-3) BOT

ARRABONA WOODPECKERS (2-3) BOT

This division is clearly going to belong to Torchwood. Nothing short of complete meltdown will prevent them from taking home the trophy. Ironclads went BOT unfortunately, as they had a solid season last time around and I believed they were on pace to become a regular contender.

AC NORTH

POZNAN KNIGHTS (4-1)
A solid start, with signature wins over Burnaby Bruisers and Pre Malones, they will make a strong case to take the division title at this rate. It is hard to predict, but 12-4 should be a reasonable finish.

FLORIDA GATORS (3-2)
Early losses to a strong Burnaby Bruisers and a good Ironclads team just before they went BOT have put us behind a bit. Unfortunately we fell just short in both games, but should make up for it in the middle stretch of the season. 12-4 or possible 13-3 should be our final standing, I expect to be able to manage to take the division title by a narrow margin.

HOTH HUSTLERS (1-4) BOT

BETTER THAN YOU (0-5) BOT

AC SOUTH

BRADFORD BULLS (4-1)
These guys are playing a good game right now, however the only major team they have beaten to date is Saint Leo Lions by 3. They have a solid start though, I look for a solid 12-4 finish, possibly a division title as well.

SAINT LEO UNIVERSITY LIONS (3-2)
With their losses coming from Bradford Bulls and Paxtang Black Panthers, I can't say anything bad about this slow start. The Lions mean business and I expect a mid season rally to really challenge for the division title. 12-4 finish and down to the last game of the season to determine the divisional champ here.

CHICAGO BLIZZARD (0-4) BOT

YORKSHIRE TIGERS (0-4) BOT

AC WEST

WEST GEATISH WARRIORS (5-0)
The Warriors will win their division again, I do not foresee many teams beating them and they should finish 14-2 or better. Solid start, and they have little in the way of divisional competition for now.

EASTERN WOLVES (2-2)
The Wolves are in the unfortunate position of having to try to usurp a well established Warriors team. I don't see that happening this season, but with some efforts, they may be able to contend next season. 8-8 would be a good start to their time in Monarchs 1.

STRASBOURG BRETZELS (1-4) BOT

NEW HAVEN MASONS (0-4) BOT

NC EAST

PRE MALONES (3-1)
A solid start to a division that should be very interesting to watch play out. Pre Malones are the early favorites due to some surprise losses for the Bruisers, we will see if they can hang on to that lead. Given the rating of the team, 11-5 is the worst case scenario, 13-3 at best.

FEHERVARI MALACOK (3-2)
Last season these guys had moments where I thought they would be major contenders. We will see if they can show that here this season, with a perfect chance to move to first place after 5 games. I expect nothing less than 11-5, with potential for 12-4 or better.

BURNABY BRUISERS (3-2)
The Bruisers took some nasty surprise losses to open up the first 3 games of the season, but I fully expect them to bounce back with a vengeance. Knowing them, 14-2 is a very possible finish, but given the losses they have taken already, they may have to settle for 13-3.

OSLER ROTTIES (2-3)
A newcomer to Monarchs 1, I do not expect them to take the division this season unless some crazy upsets happen and the three teams ahead of them eat each other. I do expect an 8-8 finish at best, and possibly contending for a playoff spot next season.

NC NORTH

MIDNIGHT MARAUDERS (5-0)
This team is legit right now, and I expect them to take the divisional trophy home. SARMIS will make it a challenge, but I believe the Marauders are capable of going 13-3 and making a statement this year.

SARMIS (3-2)
This team has historically been a good one, not in the top tier for some time, but a solid team. I expect this season to be a rebuild for them and preparing to surge to the top of the division next season. Possible playoff spot as a wildcard.

BIRNEY'S WEEKENDERS (2-2)
The Weekenders have had moments of greatness, but this season has not been kind to them so far. I fully expect them to miss the playoffs baring any major fall by SARMIS, however, they should take this season as a chance to improve their gameplan and prepare for a strong effort next season, building experience for their young team.

TOTAL DOMINATION (1-4) BOT

NC SOUTH

PAXTANG BLACK PANTHERS (5-0)
Another 5-0 start for the Panthers, I have lost track at this point of how many. Point is, they will win their division yet again and make a deep playoff run. Their closest win was a solid 24-10 win over the Saint Leo Lions, therefore, 16-0 is not too hard to imagine them finishing.

MINUTEMEN (3-2)
Another newcomer to Monarchs 1, the Minutemen are doing well for themselves, but not enough to surpass the Panthers this season. I expect between 7-9 wins for them this season.

ALBUQUERQUE DUKES (1-4) BOT

DUSSELDORF PANTHERS (1-4) BOT

SPACE KRAKEN (5-0)
What can I say about Space Kraken to atone for last season's dismissal of taking the division title? Well, they won it last season, and I will be VERY surprised if they don't take it home this season as well. A very solid team that I underestimated before, but rest assured, these guys are the real deal and they are set to be a contender in the playoffs for the foreseeable future. Easy 13-3 or even better heading into the playoffs.

PARK RIDGE OWLS (3-1)
Another solid team that needs time to reach their full potential, I expect the Owls to make 12-4 and at least offer a bit of a challenge for the division. Winning head to head games against Space Kraken would help their odds dramatically, otherwise, they will take a wildcard spot home.

SOMERTON CRABS (2-3) BOT

PETERBOROUGH PIRATES (1-4) BOT

At this time, with some teams having played 5 games, and most others having 4, the conference standings can change dramatically week to week. Most divisions have just 2 human teams to sort out, so it is mostly straightforward. Barring any major changes in performance or additional teams going BOT, I feel my predictions will play out accurately Best of luck everyone!

Too much praise to the Kraken! Now they'll sit back and eat caviar. Fully expect to lose by 20 in the much anticipated Aliens-Kraken matchup.

I must say I agree with you it is hard to lose to a team that then goes BOT. It's not so much that they bet you but that all future opponents will have an easy ride against them. That's what is so hard to take. Anyway best of luck to you the rest of the season - except for one game
