3 out of 5. Not that bad. Buzi showed he is ready for Elite and PJ that the Pirates are a real deal.

After a catastrophic first quarter my team was at the same level with San Diego. At the end my team was on its way to a possible winning TD when the game was over with 16 yards to go. Sad to drop out but proud to be at this level. I believe our best four teams are in Elite now. I also believe that we have four more teams who are ready for elite and would possibly stay there for a long time if we were not in the possible toughest region of them all. |

Cheers... my team's main problems will likely show in the next few seasons. After my contract debacle I was left with most of my starters, and most of my players who will be ready in 4-5 seasons... but almost none of the players who would be coming through in the next 1-3 seasons - the 23-26 year olds with stats in the 35-40 bracket - the ones who would pad the depth chart now, and be filtered into the starting spots soon....
Thus this year, when my starters have been getting tired, it's the skill 25-30 players who have been coming on. My DL is especially worrying as 2 excellent ones are retiring, and I've had to bring in WR and a Kicker to fill the void too - but neither were as good as the players I was preparing... I had several monsters at DL, WR and RB waiting in the wings.... I've been running this season with a 35-40 man depth chart, instead of my usual 50-55. If my Kicker, my QB, or a WR goes out for 10 minutes, then I have problems. |
