I agree with this, you shouldn't be able to out earn a team that qualified for the playoffs with these bowl games. Though if its based on season performance then I guess tickets should be worth more than generic friendly games? And Jack6 after thinking about it I agree that qualification should be based on league or supercup record, perhaps 8-8 would be good enough for a team to be considered not having tanked? |

yes, something like that.
In College Football it's a 6 win record (out of usually 12 games), so 50%. So in League games that would be 8-8, but I would more prefere a supercup based challange und that would be 8-7. |

At this time of the season this idea always get back to my mind. I have nothing to fight for since last week just like many other managers. I think some new managers may even "forget to log in" because there is nothing to do for their teams...

I would love to have such bowl games.
Just thought it would be great of the engine creates those games based on some metric, like elo, win-loss, whatever and 1 team gets the 'responsible' tag and could even upload a unique trophy for that. Or even you get the chance to invite a team out of a bunch of teams. Not sure how to do that. |
