Yeah...the booster rocket landed fine on the sea platform. I guess they dock with the Intl Space Station in 18-19 hours. Hope all goes well.

I don't think my youngest kid was even alive when the last shuttle launched. My older daughter and I used to watch the space shuttle launches - - the last few. We've been up to Los Angeles, where you can see one of the shuttles in exposition park.

There used to be an Dos Equis ad campaign about the "Most Interesting Man in the World". Realistically, I think that's probably Elon Musk.

Followed live on wednesday and today. Looked pretty clean today. Just disliked the patriotism in there, since space exploration is a thing no single country could win on its own. However, good achievement.

What Elon musk did with SpaceX and Tesla is on an engineering point of view simply amazing. It also took some big balls to launch those projects that are now the technological reference in their field.

On an economical point of view, if I am not wrong none of those companies are profitable. Amazing how now you can be leader of your market and still lose money years after years.

But when I see the technological miracles he can pull, I wish he was more focusing on societal and environmental stakes. The world could clearly benefits from brilliant minds like his on those topics.

Not a fan of Elon Musk at all but this is a cool move. Saw a video yesterday saying how the space suits cost 250 million dollars each which surprised me a lot. There’s obviously a lot of things here on earth that billions could be spent on but I think there’s something special about space exploration too that is important for people to strive towards.

I agree with you here. While you cannot deny his achievements, he'll stop at nothing to ensure he is always in the headlines.

There's a fine line between madness and genius...

Considering how well he has done I'm obviously wrong, but anytime I've heard him in an interview he really doesn't come across as any sort of genius. Can't argue with all the success he has had though, especially if he can help bring back something as big as space exploration
