Got with my 1st pick per round in last seasons elite draft list 3 young players, which might get a spot in my roster.
#1 a 19 year old 50/50 DL, will make the roster
#33 a 19 year old DL who has OK physicals, but will be shifted to SF, likely making the roster.
#65 a 20 year old QB with uncapped speed at 40+ right now and already good str. Will be shifted to LB, might make the roster.

Still struggling with my roster setup, I want to have a little bit fewer numbers, since I have already quite ready YA-graduates, but sometimes I see a gap which should not be here. Confusing, but it starts to take shape.

I had a good draft, i think all 3 could be starters eventually

1st round = 50 str 50 int Linebacker to cover my MLB shortage

2nd round = FB with long carry might go against the norm, but i have an idea

3rd round = OL with 47.4 strength and unknown speed, possible OT with time

all 19 year olds, so plenty of time to improve them.

1st round - a 21 year old DL with 50 STR and Brick Wall trait - I hoped for an uncapped SPD, but he will contribute as a NT/DT.
2nd round - another 21 year old; LB with uncapped STR, which will reach 50, high speed, 50 INT and Long reach. His talent in not as impressive, but he'll be a good MLB.
3rd round - another LB, this time a 23 year old. He's got uncapped STR, 50 SPD and really high INT. He is not a prospect from a dream, but he is a good 3rd round guy.

Time for my way too early season predictions! With the season officially getting games underway in less than 12 hours, here goes *deep breath* I will list teams in order of their predicted standings (Disclaimer: I have been proven wrong MANY times before)

AC EAST

TORCHWOOD ALIENS

Hands down, the aliens win the division, likely undefeated or sporting just one loss (hopefully against me, it is my turn for a win mate) I expect them to reach the Conference Championship game, maybe even the big game.

Vysocina Seahawks

A newcomer to the league, these guys will not be able to compare to the Aliens, but should be able to take second place in the division. However, this season at least will not see them reach the playoffs.

Ironclads BOT
Granite State Grey Wolves BOT

AC NORTH

Florida Gators

I can not pick against my team, even in a major rebuilding season. The defense is actually stronger than ever, which should cover some decline in other areas. I do expect a minimum of 3-4 losses though, so things will be difficult.

Poznan Knights

These guys have nabbed 2 of the last 3 division titles and are our fiercest division rival to date. They will be on a mission to repeat division champs, and if things go badly for my Gators, the Knights will hold the division title at the end of the season.

MK Saints

These guys are a new force to be seen, but based on team ratings, they will be a tough contender. I expect this to be among the tightest divisional races of the league this season, predicting less than 4 games difference between first place and third place. Could potentially have both wildcard teams in this division.

Hernet Hooligans

Another newcomer to the league, these guys simply do not yet measure up to the rest of the division, but I expect them to become a respectable foe within the next season or two.

AC SOUTH

Leverkusen Leopards

If ever there is a team that I simply fear playing, it is the Leopards. They are ALWAYS among the top 4 teams I expect to see in the Conference Championship games, and this season is no different. They will run the tables again this year and may as well claim their divisional title now.

Saint Leo University Lions

As solid as this team is, the Leopards are scarier than the Lions. Leo will secure second place almost assuredly, but I seriously doubt they have a chance to take the divisional title this season. A wildcard spot could be in their future if they can hit 12 wins.

DA Raiders

These guys are gonna take a few lumps, but I expect them to learn from being in one of the toughest divisions of the league.

Starboy Nation BOT

AC WEST

West Geatish Warriors

I predicted this a few seasons ago, that the Warriors would become a major contender soon enough, and last season was proof of that. I expect nothing less this season, they will take their division handily, potentially with less than 2 losses on the year.

Letaidans

Another newcomer, these guys are already well equipped to be a challenge for some teams, and they could make a push for a wildcard spot.

Eastern Wolves

It was difficult to put them in third place, but considering last season and the level of opposition in their division, it is fitting that they stay in third for now.

Strasbourg Bretzels BOT

NC EAST

Burnaby Bruisers

I always choose the Bruisers to win the division, and they somehow make it happen, nothing changes this season, despite some fierce competitors. Punch that playoff ticket now

Berinsfield Hornets

These guys are incredible, and I do believe they will give the Bruisers a run for their money, but when all is said and done, I expect them to take a wildcard spot.

Fehevari Malacok

These guys did an amazing job as a newcomer last season, and given their team rating, I expect them to make a push for a wildcard spot, but I am unsure if they can actually take it just yet. We shall see

Somerton Crabs BOT

NC NORTH

Midnight Marauders

The Marauders will likely have no trouble taking their division title home this season, with fairly good teams to play in their division, it should at least be interesting for the first half of the season.

birney's weekenders

I expect the weekenders to take second place, but that may not necessarily mean a playoff spot for them, considering the level of other teams in the conference.

SARMIS

SARMIS will provide the weekenders with a challenge for second place, and given their track history, they could very well challenge for first place given their ability to win against teams higher rated than themselves. Should be a fun team to watch

Minnesota Axemen

Unfortunately, as is the case most of the time, newcomers are in a division with lots of potential already there, so I don't expect much this season from the Axemen, but given time, they will surely become a worthy opponent.

NC SOUTH

Paxtang Black Panthers

These Panthers never give up, rarely lose, and rarely underperform. I expect a relatively easy divisional run for them, likely 6-0 against their divisional foes. Get that playoff ticket ready

Rheydter Royal Roosters

These guys have no chance against the Panthers to be honest, but have some easy games against the bot teams in the division, so they will be able to gain some experience and potentially grow to become a challenger sooner than later.

Minutemen BOT
Dusseldorf Panthers BOT

NC WEST

Park Ridge Owls

Based on sheer team ratings from last season, the Owls should have this in the bag. However, Kraken may have some things to say about that.

Space Kraken

For now, I am predicting a second place finish, only because of team rating. Once I have more current data, I may be shown to be wrong. For now, enjoy a wildcard spot prediction

Osler Rotties

I expect this to be a tight divisional race, but someone has to be in third place, and right now, I expect the Rotties to fill that spot.

KAFakofers

Yet another newcomer, these guys will have a rough go of things this season, but the experience will go a long way in preparing them for the future.

Best of luck to everyone tomorrow, the new season is about to begin!

With great reluctance, I sent my 3rd rounder to the market. He's a 23-year old OL with 50 strength. It came down to either keeping him or keeping an older OL with 5 stars EXP. It was a tough choice, but the rookie had to go.

As always, great write up Gator! I really enjoy the underdog tag so much more and my team seems to lay down in the favorite role. Really looking forward to proving you wrong again.

If you guys would like me to continue my power rankings this season I certainly will.

I would love more power rankings. It's harder throwing shade your way without an 0-4 prediction to point to. Never trust a Kraken, never ever.

I for one definitely would love to see more power ratings

Anything that adds another dimension to the game greatly interests me

Awesome write up!

GG Bruisers, we seem to be very evenly matched with our games always teetering back and forth until the end.

Marauders had an oddball of a draft. Picked up a very nice DE + DT. Immediately sold the DE, as I already have 11 DL on the roster, and I quite like how they're developing. The DT stays for now, since my starters are 29+30. I would say a bit too much trust in my draft formula, and not paying attention to what my team actually needs burned me a bit.

The 3rd pick was a grab bag as I hadn't ranked literally every player in the draft ... double uncapped 19yo, 3.5* XP, 5* Tal, 48Tmw. The 91st pick survives the cut for now, until I see where those caps are at.
