there more selection for old player and new player to game so like 200 players on draft bord so we can only 96 players so feel like 200 players when we s e l e c t player goes off bord 3rd round last pick force too get player you do not want so if more player on board so what happens to player did not get draft the will go to transfer market

This has been discussed before, and I think the consensus was no because the quality of players wouldn’t go up and it would take too much time to scout extra players.

200 players would be far to much, but 100 to give a choice even on the last pick would be nice

The quality of the last 5 players would be similar and all they would be worthless to keep and develop. So it is better to keep it as now because any change will not have a significant positive impact. |

Surely an advantage to having a few more players would be that the last few persons to pick may have a choice of positions to fill. eg instead of having to s e l e c t the last player left who may be a punter, kicker, KR, G, he could choose to add a defender or an offence player. They may not be a player with decent skills but could slot into the ST group or a backup for defence or offence.

The problem is that even with the added players, you may still be left with punters, kickers, kick returners, and gunners. The latter 2 by the way are could easily be converted to offensive or defensive players. I'm not against it, not for it... unless the overall talent was better. |
