Please noooooooooooooooooooooooo. It's already too easy and fast now to build a team full of stars compared to RZA like 20 seasons ago, if it gets any easier to build a team we might as well all play RZC and start with monster teams from day 1.

Just look at the average team ratings... when we had 800 teams in RZA only 2 teams managed to reach a rating of 80+... Now wee have 57 teams above 80 and under 300 active managers...

I totally disagree!
This politics are bringing this wonderful game near to his end.
If there is a possibility to have a 5 stars player,I should be able to have him in roster in addition to 44 others.
We know that this is not possible causes teams failure so we try to manage the best we can between team strength and salary balance.
We have seen some few managers building a victorious team and maintain a solid economic balance and many other build great team (sameone win sameone not) and fail one or two years later.
I think we had to discuss togheter to make a step forward to this game for granted victory possibility to everyone and have better chance to not fail.

P.S. Sorry for my English

IMO the increased training is slowly killing the game. We had ~800 managers before that and now we're not even at 300 anymore. The TM is quasi dead for sellers and the slow build concept barely exists anymore as in 3/4 seasons you can get to Elite.

Are we that sure the game is going to its end? Since I came back with my second team in season 31, 2 years ago, I heard this a lot. Yet the game is still there. Sure some leagues suffered (Seadevils particularly), but Elite has never been that fun to play. This season it is even very open for the final win.

Also, let's say the number of players decreases as it seems to be. Are we sure the issue is the financial aspect? The game is almost 10 years old. At this time online games such as this one were more popular. Now it's all about free-to-play on smartphone and live online gaming (Fortnite and co). Once again, I am really not sure it has something to do with the players salaries, the transfer market or the league structure. A few tweaks may improve the user experience for sure, but let's not blame everything on this.

There are personally a lot of things I would like Pete to implement in the game. I proposed them all, they have been declined for various reasons. But let's not forget that it takes time to manage such a game and do the modifications. Overall, the game is great. And I love the financial aspect. This is what makes the difference between great managers, who will be Elite for a long time, and the others who will in the best case scenario be Elite punctually or in the worst case scenario go bankrupt.

Oh yeah I'm not saying it's the only factor for sure, there are tons of others, some related to the game and some not, but there are tons of games out there where you can reach the top very quickly, what really made RZA different to me is the long-term slow-build approach. Pete has made many changes to make the game easier for noobs and a faster climb to the top in the hopes that it would retain more managers and bring new ones but we're seeing the opposite happen so I would love to see a few changes making things more difficult and slower again and see if it helps. Maybe it wouldn't but I've been pushing for such changes for a while and would love to see something attempted at least.

I can agree with what Kanar wrote. I play one of these F2P online games. It is an adventure game and the most common complaint is that players don't get sufficient 5* resources (I use this generically) and therefore take too long to build up their hero teams. Someone has a better team than they do and they want to have it. They complain because they can't get it. They complain because it takes too long. I think we are in an age of instant gratification. - I want to have it, I want to have it now, without any time or any effort on my part. If I don't get it instantly I get bored and move on. If I do get it instantly then I want more.

You forgot "for free" On the other hand you would wonder how much money such quick run games compile with ingame item selling, and how much time users finally consume playing such games.

IMO, this is something you could call "depending on the gamer generation"

That's true and most games are like that but the main reason why I, and I'm sure many others, are here is exactly because RZA is different and takes longer than most games. I feel like going back to these roots of slow-build and patience would help RZA retain more managers and hopefully attract new ones who, like many of us here, enjoy a different type of game.

Some people still fill the survey when they leave RZA. The picture is mixed there. In my opinion, there is not one reason or one to do, to make RZA more addicting for "everyone".

Sure, there will always be some people who want the game to be easier and some who want it to be harder but my point is that the last few important changes have made it easier (increased training, Mediacenter, Premium YA with EXP bonus, improved draft picks...) the last change I remember that made things a little bit harder was the extra expense we have to pay to keep the stadium in shape but that was like 20 seasons ago and it's not really that challenging either, just a small extra cost. I think it would be nice to have some changes that make it harder again.
