Tomorrow season 40's champ of champs cup will start and it may be a historic one. Will both elite bowl teams loose in round 1?
Match of the day Salt City Pirates  @ Tigercats
Both teams are competing for the bye week in the league with a 10-3 record. The Pirates have a bit more experience, but the Tigercats the home field advantage. This is probably the closed game in the first round. Even if it is 50:50, I can't bet against my team... Eagles @ Gangsters
Under normal circumstances the Gangsters would easily win this one, but they are having a really big problem with their moral this season. I think this game will be the tipping point for their season. If they loose, it won't be just another financial hit, it will impact their moral again. My bet: The Eagles make it and the AC No. 1 Elite Bowl contender will relegate to League 1 at the end. Other games to note: DC Washingtonians @ Armadillos
They are both top teams in Elite and playoff contenders. The Armadillos have home field advantage and they have already beaten the Washingtonians this season. I don't think this will happen again. Normally DC plays on another level and the Dillos are on a downward trend. Leopards @ Bridges
Both elite teams have potential, but the Bridges are playing the far better season and have beaten the Leopards easily on Tuesday. Have they gambled in the League and will show their full potential on Friday? The Leopards can always surprise, but only if their QB has a really good day. We are not gambling, we just have Dr. Jekyll und Mr. Hyde as Starting QB, better known as Payton Manning and Ryan Leaf in 1 Person. Still try to figure out how to get Payton playing more often. 
This season it seems that Ryan do the heavy lifting. |

I fear you can not expect much from a 3.5* QB. I would even say a 4* QB is usually not enough for Elite or going far in cups.

I'm still building him (and his backup) up in exp, but that takes time. But it seems he also needs higher skills to compete. Right now he is at 40 in average. |
