With again too much time on my hands let's have a look how this went down :

16_horsepower 1-12 31 vs. San Diego Blitz 11-2 4
17-34
1-0
As expected.

AS Roma Wolves 5-8 24 vs. Comeback Kids 9-4 12
23-16
2-0
The expected 5th win in a row does finally not help as the Magpies won against the Packers. But Scatobones can be proud about the second half of the season.

Black Dragons 6-7 18 vs. DC Washingtonians 12-1 2
20-31
3-0
In the first half we saw some of the Dragons class. At the end DC is just too strong and their end zone much better protected than their congress. If they were white dragons, would it have been the same ?

Bradford Bulls 6-7 19 vs. Hell Hounds 9-4 7
35-17
3-1
The only big surprise of this match day. The Bulls ended a 4 match losing steak by putting the Hounds playoff hopes into real danger.

Catalunya 1714 2-11 29 vs. Salt City Pirates 12-1 1
0-64
4-1
Most brutal win of the season. 609-125 yards. 11-0 sacks. What a demonstration of power by the No.1 of the power ranking.

Diorite Lions 8-5 11 vs. Peoples Republic of Yorkshire 4-9 23
43-10
5-1
When the Lions head over the radio that the hounds were falling behind at the end of the first quarter, they just went mad with excitement and went back to first place in the division.

Dumbarajko Elephants 7-6 15 vs. BU Terriers 5-8 21
35-37
6-1
The closest match of the day goes once again to the unlucky Elephants. After a 14-0 lead the wheels came off fo some minutes and while they tried everything to come back in the last quarter, again they lost by only 2 points. Terriers now only one win away.

Gardians 4-9 25 vs. BoneCrushers  7-6 17
27-31
7-1
If there is one egret by the Custer's in this win, it will be that the margin of points is not really helping them. Other than that the win helped them to move up to 2nd place in the division and 8th in the conference.

GLADIATORI ROMA 4-9 27 vs. Valiant Pinoys 0-13 32
34-31
7-2
And with this we can now finally predict that the Pinoys will remain without a win this season. Another close one. And another heroic effort to come back after a 0-17 start.

Green Mark Packers 7-6 16 vs. BobBoy Magpies 8-5 13
17-24
8-2
In a close match the Magpies not only put two wins between them in the Packers with only two matches to go. They also moved to 6th in the conference.

Leeds Celtics 2-11 26 vs. Deflators 3-10 28
13-31
8-3
The Celtics went 6-0 and 13-3. This was also the score after the third quarter. Rumours are that Jonny left for dinner, convinced of his third win of the season. It seems, his players were not happy about his absence. I don't know if they high fived the Deflators after the match. This detail might be fake news.

LoneStar Armadillos 1-12 30 vs. Social Distance Runners 8-5 8
6-51
9-3
Finally a convincing win by the Runners who have now officially avoided relegation and are almost sue to make the playoffs.

Lyon Eagles 8-5 14 vs. TigerCats 9-4 9
24-30
10-3
RZA MATCH OF THE DAY was a true HIGHLIGHT as well. The TiCats are practically intouchable as division winners. Plus they moved to 2nd place in the conference. Eagles currently outside the playoff picture and even in danger of relegation as they fell behind the Crushers.

Rome Centurions 9-4 10 vs. Willemstad Bridges 9-4 3
10-30
11-3
The Bridges at their best showed why they could defend their title. Beating the Centurions in this way is more than impressive. To the surprise of many of us, the Centurions fell back to 7th place in the conference.

Växjö Gladiators AFC 5-8 20 vs. Home Malones  11-2 5
0-14
12-3
Punters had a stressful day in this one that showed why the Gladiators defense is one of the best and the Malones defense is probably the best of the league.

Werewolves 5-8 22 vs. Chelt Nam Bobbers 11-2 6
16-63
13-3
Another brutal win by the Bobbers who have scored 8 more touchdowns this season than second placed Bridges and DC.

Match Day 1 11:5
Match Day 2 9:7
Match Day 3 10:4
Match Day 4 11:3
Match Day 5 12:2
Match Day 6 12:2
Match Day 7 9:4
Match Day 8 11:2
Match Day 9 12:2
Match Day 10 11:5
Match Day 11 11:5
Match Day 12 8-8
Match Day 13 13-3
Match Day 14 13-3

BREAKING NEWS : markupst is back with a login on January 10 !

A very fast preview for tomorrow :

next gameday: 2021-01-12 18:00:00
Away Result Home
AS Roma Wolves vs. Diorite Lions
The Wolves streak ends while the Lions pursue their ambitions to win the division. RZA MATCH OF THE WEEK !

BobBoy Magpies vs. Peoples Republic of Yorkshire
Magpies in hope of a win before their season finale for the division title against the Kids.

BoneCrushers vs. Lyon Eagles
This match will not be the final decision but the winner should be able to remain in Elite while the loser will probably face relegation.

Bradford Bulls vs. Salt City Pirates
The Pirates won 64-0 on Saturday, 63-0 on Sunday and 68-7 today. Who wants to take places with Tyke who remains the only manager to beat Lulubas superstars this season ?

BU Terriers vs. Black Dragons
Lots of Elefans are expected to Tavel to the Death Cave to see the Dragons win against the Terriers.

Chelt Nam Bobbers vs. 16_horsepower
The Bobbers will score and score and secure their title for most touchdowns in the regular season.

Comeback Kids vs. Catalunya 1714
Mark has come back in time for the end of this season. If he logs in tomorrow he will his Kids go 10-5.

DC Washingtonians vs. Valiant Pinoys
I guess this will be rude for the home crowd.

Deflators vs. Rome Centurions
Centurions will come back strong hoping a big win gets them back into the playoff picture

Dumbarajko Elephants vs. Green Mark Packers
The Packers last chance to keep the league against visiting elephants who need to win as well to stay in second place of their division. One of the highlights this week.

GLADIATORI ROMA vs. Werewolves
After beating the Runners in the friendly cup on Sunday the Werewolves hope to secure their Elite stay winning in an Italian duel.

Hell Hounds vs. Willemstad Bridges
Nobody knows what the Hounds will do. Winning in the arena of the curent champion would be the kind of surprise they ae capable of.

Home Malones vs. Social Distance Runners
As the runners manager I have a bad feeling about this one. I am just happy that this match should have no implication for the playoff spots as both teams seem to be qualified as 5th and 6th (with an outside chance of the runners losing this place and the Malones moving up with a win against the Pirates on Saturday)

Leeds Celtics vs. Växjö Gladiators AFC
Bye to both of you. Seee you back in Elite soon, if I am able to stay after next season.

LoneStar Armadillos vs. TigerCats
The TiCats will have some fun on Tuesday.

San Diego Blitz vs. Gardians
If the Werewolves win their home match this will seal the fate of the Gardians.

Good luck everyone

We beat a bot team 101-0 tonight so no problems.

Luluba loves a bit of suspense in his wins. That's why his wins ae always by a small margin only.

I'm willing to trade schedules with Tyke for the week after the Supercup draw. Playing the LuLuBa All Stars only once this week would be considered a treat right now.

(I didn't actually look at who Tyke1958 plays in Supercup or Champ of Champs, so no offense to whoever those teams happen to be)

Ouch. I'd be content to just play Lu twice a season. In the cups we've got Torino Cursed Black Bulls and Green Mark Packers, all higher ranked than us so will be challenging. We finish our stay in Elite against the Dragons who I've never been able to beat. Still, to be the best you've got to beat the best...or some crap like that.

Some people would be perturbed by a 33 point drubbing (congratulations on all your success Buzi). But not this idiot; not today! That's because we have had two more Scorigami since the last post
